YAY! Update on John Frieda Mobile Coupon!

by Christie Bisbee on November 29, 2011

I wanted to give you all a quick update on the John Frieda Mobile coupon! Like I thought it’s stacking with the Manufacturer’s coupon for a total of up to $8 OFF! And if you find the clearance John Frieda, that’s FREE Hair Color. 🙂 The clearance John Frieda is pretty wide spread so although all of you may not find it, many of you will. The mobile coupon is good today 11/29 and tomorrow 11/30.

Also, although the image of the manufacturer’s coupon says “available at Walmart”, this coupon did NOT print with any mention of Walmart anywhere on it when I printed it!

***DEAL IDEA WITH CLEARANCE***
Buy (1) John Frieda Foam Hair Colour $6.59
-$3/1 coupon for John Frieda Hair Colour
-$5/1 John Frieda Hair Color Walgreens Mobile coupon x11/30
= FREE!

***DEAL IDEA AT REGULAR PRICE***
Buy (1) John Frieda Foam Hair Colour $12.99
-$3/1 coupon for John Frieda Hair Colour
-$5/1 John Frieda Hair Color Walgreens Mobile coupon x11/30
= $4.99 EACH

If you find this deal, let us know your experience!

The Mobil coupon has “not valid with any other offers”. Can we still stack it?

So do the Monthly Books and Walgreens is constantly advertising stacks for them too. Their policy says you can stack a Walgreens coupon and a MQ, so I think it’s probably some boiler plate stuff.

Just wondering if you can use a text coupon without the actual text. My phone doesn’t have the capability and I’m not due for an upgrade until next year. I hate to miss out on some of these good deals. Can I just ask a really nice cashier to put in the sku for the John Frieda? Thanks for any help on this…

Will the Walgreen’s mobile coupons multiply like the others? Like if I buy 4, will it take off $20??

Yes!!! I just came from wags and bought 2 @ $6.59 each in one transaction. I gave them my $3.00 mfg coupons first then had them scan my phone and it took off $10.00!!! I am super excited about this new app… I just made money :)))

Andrea…it says 1 use per person but the monthly coupons say that too so YMMV I would think?

I’ve emailed Walgreens and they replied that the mobile coupons are indeed stackable with mfc. coupons and if I encountered any problems to contact their customer relations dept.

Can you use an in ad Q plus a Walgreens Q from the infant care booklet plus a manufacturer coupon? I’ve had this work at some stores but at a particular store I always have an issue and I”m not sure if this is in their policy so i dont have a strong argument whenever i have an issue.

I was blown away by my purchase of John Frieda. I’d won a free Q from the fb promo, had the $3/1 Q and the mobile Q. I bought 2 @ $12.99 ea. Used mobile Q and it took off $10. Then she took off $12.99 for the freebie. Then scanned the $3.00 Q. Got the Carmex travel size @ .99, used $1 off Q and added 2 pencils. Got everything for .32! Way to go me! Thanks Christie.

Does anyone know if there is any sort of accommodation for folks that don’t have smartphones? My husband has a smartphone, but I do not. He is not usually with me when I am at Walgreens. I guess I almost feel like it is a form of “coupon discrimination” or something and it initiallly started with the Target mobile coupons. I know that sounds kind of silly, but I thought I would ask… 😉
