Here are some updates from my trip today that will hopefully make your trip a little easier…
FUN WITH REVLON
The Revlon deal is awesome. It’s just that you are going to probably have to buy more make-up than you anticipated (terrible huh?). ๐
So here is the deal, quite simply you will need to hit $10 BEFORE manufacturer’s coupons but AFTER Walgreens coupons to get the $3 Register Reward to print. Luckily I always have a calculator so it was pretty easy to figure out some good deals.ย Also, don’t use the $3 Register Reward from last weeks Revlon nail polish deal to pay for this transaction! They are coded the same so you most likely will not get another $3 Register Reward, once I saw they were coded the same, I didn’t risk it.
So here are some deal ideas. I have written these out in the order that you are going to hand over your coupons, however you’ll notice that if you subtract the Walgreens Coupons from the total BEFORE manufacturer’s coupons, it will always be over $10 to make sure it prompts the $3 Register Reward. I didn’t want to include more than (6) of any one item as to not deplete stock, but I will say stores were pretty well stocked today.

DEGREE DEAL
The Degree deal will work and print out a $4 Register Reward WYB (4). Like I suspected it’s really just advertising the monthly Degree Catalina. It’s still FREE if you have the $1/1 coupons so a great deal! If you are following my Walgreens Shopping Scenario for this week there is no need to adjust, I created it with just a $4 RR for Degree. One more tip – don’t try the bonus packs of Degree, they are NOT part of the sale. (I had to try!)
COLGATE DEAL
I was one of the ones who didn’t get the Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief coupons but I had a $.50 off ANY Colgate from my dentist office. However, that toothpaste was seriously hard to find! Only (1) of the (3) stores I visited today had it in stock. However, I did find a huge display of it at CVS… hmmm… too bad they can’t send some over to Walgreens! ๐

Worked great @ 6am, no problem here and I adjusted to my favorites.
I have good one too!. The Revlon tweezers are on sale for $2.49. They spit out a $2 Catalin for your NEXT purchase of Revlon tools. There is a $1.00 coupon in the WAGS book, so after it’s all said and done, it is a .49 cent money maker. After you get your 1st Catalina, repeat the process and use a .49 cent filler which makes for a bunch of free tweezers and other goodies.

Always. Quite often the Wags Q attaches to the item if you hand it over first making the MQ beep. However, if you had over the Wags Q last, no beeps. ๐

Yes the degree clinical strength with motion sense was included in the deal at my store. I got three for a little over a 1.00 a piece. ๐
The motion sense degree didn’t work for me. My cashier was the mgr(she is super nice and coupons herself so she is patient and understanding) and I asked her if it qualified. She didn’t know so she rang it up and nope, the register didn’t like it. So I got the regular ones.
Sorry. What I meant was: motion sense didn’t work for the 2/$4 deal. It does work for the RR though.

Mine turned out all wrong too. Mine showed 5 times more out of pocket than planned. I was highly saddened.
Something must of happened with the shipping of the toothbrushes. I work at walgreens and it said I had a ton in my inventory that just came in but they were no where to be found. I think they sent a different product by mistake. What we call a mis-pick.
We didn’t receive any toothbrushes at my wags either, but we did get a ton of the toothpaste.

Could someone please clarify the coupons for me? The revlon $2/1 that you said was in the 7-24-11 SS that is a walgreens coupon correct? I thought only Mfg Q’s were in the SS. Where would I have found that coupon?
Sometimes certain regions receive store-specific coupons in their Sunday coupon inserts, like Walgreens coupons or Target store coupons. They seem to be VERY regional. If there are Q’s you didn’t get, you can try to buy them from the coupon clipping services or on Ebay.
Ok, it’s been established that the Degree MotionSense works in the RR deal BUT… are they ringing up 2/$4 as part of the sale? My ad states that only AP/DO priced no higher than $3.99 regularly qualifies =o(
The Coupon in this deal that is a Walgreen’s coupon, was it clipped out of the smartsource on that date? Or is this in the coupon book? It says you only need one and it will take off for all items is why I am wondering? Thank you.

Yes it was a Walgreens coupon found in that SS. If you don’t see it, that means unfortunately your area did not get it. You could try ordering from a clipping site or eBay to get the coupons before the sale ends, or just use what coupons you do have and don’t worry about it. Another sale will always come along! Hope that helps.
I don’t have the 2.00 off of one Revlon Walgreen’s coupon? Was that in the newspaper? The 7/24/11 Smart Source? I’ve gone through all my coupons from that date and can’t find it anywhere?

It was a regional spread that was included in the Walgreens ad found in the newspaper, only. I was lucky enough to have it in mine (Colorado). A lot of people didn’t have it… or so it seems.
Overall I had a good morning. There were 5 other couponers in the store with me shopping. We all chatted and had a great morning saving! B4 coupons my total was $68. After coupons and RR’s it was $12. I was able to get two Colgate pro-relief toothpastes, 3 Dial body washes, 4 Degrees, 1 Keri lotion, 1 12pk of Cottonelle, 1 Aussie conditioner and 5 caramels(fillers).
I found a Keri coupon $2 on any 1 size in The Parade (Tampa Tribune, I receive 4 newspapers but only 2 out of 4 had the coupon)! Did anyone see these in stock ? The monthly deal is still going on right ?
I looked or the lotion in 3 wags in Seminole/Largo area and they were all out. the girl even looked in the back for me.
Anna, Mine was like that too! I got 4 papers. 2 of them had more coupons than the other including the Keri and free yogurt. I has to have been intentional!
My wags in cheyenne told me that they are getting rid of Keri lotion and don’t know when they will be restocked(if ever) according to the magr. She only had about 10 left so I grabed one.
The monthly deal on Keri is still working here in Los Angeles area.
I had one of my best wags days ever. 41 oop, 15 in rr and left with 34 in rr… 3 dial, 4 crest pro white, 6 packages of glade oil candles, 3 colgate sensitive, 4 degree, and a Ton of school supplies. The bed part was that each transaction went smoothly!
My Walgreens was advertising the Degree as 2/$4 get back $1RR. It also said only 1 coupon per transaction will print. How are you getting a $4RR back after buying 4?
The $2 off of any Revlon cosmetics Walgreens coupon (as well as other Walgreens coupons) came inside a SmartSource newspaper insert on July 24th and it was regional (random).
I found coupons for the Colgate Pro-Relief on tearpads at my Walmart. They were on an endcap. I think they were $1 off.
Does the $2 off Revlon coupon have a code on it? Sometimes Walgreens will accept the coupon code if it is a Walgreens coupon.

So this is why the RR didn’t print?! I got 3 eyeshadows totaling 11.97 but then the wags coupon took off $6 so I guess that’s why the RR didn’t print? ๐

Just curious if you are adding a filler item.The ratio to coupons/products for makeup doesn’t match meaning there are more coupons than items?I though you had to have same amount of items as coupons.

Why do you do the Revlon all in one transaction? Is there any reason? why not seperate transaction in order to get more RR? because you only have to spend $10 to get $3 RR right?
It took me awhile to get this the filler items are for each rr you use. RR’s are coupons. The Wags coupons that you stack don’t count as an extra one.
What does Wags Q x9/30 (Takes Off $16) mean? If I do not have any of the coupons listed how can I get them?
I only have the walgeen coupon. So can some explain how I would have to do this. Don’t mind if is more because I RR from other thing last week to use.

How do you tell if the Revlon color cosmetic coupon is good on the blush or mascara ?
As long as it says “any color cosmetic”, it should work on anything in the Revlon cosmetics section (lipstick, lipliner, blush, base, mascara, eye shadow/liner, and nail polish), despite the picture.
My Revlon prices were MUCH higher than yours. I’ll have to come up with completely different transactions. Unfortunately, that will mean a lot less make-up (which I really need). Grrrr…
Same with mine. The same mascaras were $7.99 and rang up for $4.79 after the 40% off.
But the single eye shadows were the same price.
On the clearance end cap at my store they had Dial bodywash for $3.59 with the RR. I think it was lemongrass or something. So it was .59 after RR instead of .99. Might be worth looking for if you’re planning on doing the Dial deal ๐

I did a modest deal; got 2 Crest for free. I tried for the Colgate 360 toothbrush but by mistake got the wrong one; it didn’t have the 4 RR attached. So they let me return it and gave my money back. They didn’t have the right ones in stock here either.
My Walgreens had the Color Stay Eyeshadow on sale for $5.99 + the 40%! The Color Stay Eyeshadows are the ones with like 4 different colors in one compact. I was super excited to find that because I use those & thought there were better variation than the single packs!
I tried the Degree deal, got 4 of the regular women’s Degree’s, and only got one $1.00 RR. The manager came over and gave me another $1.00 RR, but no $4.00 printed. Do I call the catalina company? I still ended up about $15 in profit after my shop today so I think I might just let this one slide.
Could it be that you got the wrong Degree. I did it today and worked perfectly. In bought 2 degree Body Responsive(for women), 2 Degree in Dry protection body heat(for men). I hope that helps.
oh, I used the coupon that said premium on it. So maybe the 4 RR deal is on the premium? I am not sure
I used the premium coupons too and I got the $4 RR. I don’t think the coupon matters. It’s what you buy that triggers the RR’s.
My Walgreens had the single eye shadow for B1G1 half off AND also the 40% off. There was a lot of number cruching trying to work it out to make it to $10 with this new twist that wasn’t posted. It was a bonus, but unexpected. Anyone else come across the single eye shadow having the second one half off?
The Colgate toothpaste that you mentioned was out at my Wags too. I just happened to be over by the cosmetics and there was a big tower of the toothpaste! Check around the store for a big round tower display of them if you can’t find them in the oral car isle.
I live in Northwest arkansas and I dont have a $2/1 revlon makeup coupon in the aug wags book??? Is it regional? I thought all the books were the same??

The Revlon makeup coupon is not in the Aug Q book–it was in with some other Walgreens coupons in the 7/24 SS insert. The Q was regional, though, so you may not have received it in your Sunday paper that week. HTH
It isn’t in the August coupon book; it was an insert in the Walgreens ad that was found in the 07/24 newspapers (not in the stores). So, if you didn’t buy a paper or have one delivered you didn’t get one- providing your region was included in the promotion.
My store had the Colgate Sensitive Pro Relief + WHITENING toothpaste on clearance for $3.39 and it gave the $4 RR just like the regular Colgate Sensitive Pro Relief. I have no idea why it would be clearanced already since it is a new product, but if your store carries that version (it was right next to the regular one), make sure to do a price check since it is a MM without any coupons! ๐
I went to walgreens and tried the revlon deal… only my $1 off q’s are limited to 1 per purchase, so the deal didn’t work for me ๐ However, I may go back and try to get single eye shadow, use the $2 off wags q, and the $1 off mani q and only pay tax for the item… But no RR ๐
All coupons say “limit one per purchase.” This means one coupon per item. But, not one per transaction. If you purchase three items, you can use three coupons. Check out the P&G coupons. You will notice the difference. Those state “maximum of four per transaction.” There is a difference.
I found a pretty good deal today on Dove body wash — 3 for $12 with $6 RR, then I used (2) $1 off coupons making it $4 for 3 huge bottles–making it even better was that some of the body was had extra bonus attached like dove deodorant or a smaller bottle of body wash. So if you take into account the bonuses attached it was $.66 for each.
Can you please explain the deal? i thought it was 3 for 18, then you get 6 RR making it 4 bucks each? even if you used $1 mq, you still pay 3 bucks each. Am I missing something?

Our ad says spend 10 get 8x points. Our ad SUCKED this week. I have 40.00 in RRs from the krill supliment last week and there is nothing much in the ad this week….great Rite Aid week though lots of free pain relievers, hand sanitizers…
I just read this post about half hour ago, so I grabbed my wags coupon (i live in MN and we got it here), had 2 RR for $4 each from the colgate deal earlier today. I got 1 under eye concealer, 1 fabulash mascara with a free eyeshadow included in pkg (black), and a lipstick. Total before Qs was $17. Handed over my RR which brought it down to $9 and gave her one wags $2 off revlon Q which took of $6. $3.37 including tax and got back a $3RR! SCORE! Thanks so much for this post, I have been needing concealer for SO long!
Also, I got the early edition mpls star trubune yesterday (I always buy it because it includes all the inserts for sunday but is $1 cheaper!) and realized this AM that my inserts only uncluded HALF of the coupons! WTF. SO I used my $3 RR from the revlon and bought 2 sunday papers and only paid $.50. That not being the point, can I contact my local paper and let them know I got ripped off by only having half the coupons and maybe they will mail me a full insert? Or should I let it go? THANKS!

I also like to sometimes get the early edition Star Tribune since it’s $1 cheaper, but I did notice that it only ever has the SS — it never has the Red Plum insert. This week only had a SS no matter what paper you got, but some weeks I have to decide if it’s worth the extra dollar for the RP. I think another time I remember that the SS insert didn’t seem like it had as much as the one the next day (in the regular Sunday paper). It made me wonder if they sometimes put in lesser inserts on purpose to prevent those who just want the coupons (like me!) from only getting the cheap paper.
I had the same problem. I bought 2 early Sun editions (DFW, TX) and the SS Insert was 1/2 the size of the ones that I bought on Sunday! All the good stuff was gone. I think they do this on purpose. I also notice a difference in the Parade magazine. Sometimes when there is a good coupon in there, the Early Sun edition never has it.
My two local walgreens did not put the pro-relief in the toothpaste aisle — they had it on display at the aisle-end of the perfume.

My husband lost his job and couponing has helped tremendously! I am going to have my sister who lives in Chicago start getting the paper and send me the inserts. Yes got my Revlon on today at Walgreens also did the 4 keebler items, 2 M&ms and 4 mascaras with a free eye shadow attached and then 4 seperate eye shadows all 20.99 plus $9 in RR to use later this week. If you wait till the Saturdate they will have more manufacturs coupons you can use on your purchase!!!! just FYI if you can wait that is ๐
The Revlon RR rolled for me. I did Christy’s second deal first and paid $4.16 and received my $3RR. Then I did Christy’s first deal, and since my mascara was $1 more I decided to use the RR from my first transaction. I paid $4.12 and the cashier handed me a $3 Revlon RR. We both looked at each other, totally shocked, then she gave me a high five. Awesome day at Wags.

If you do not have the manufacturer coupons, ask the cosmetic counter lady. I have been to three stores and they have a Revlon $1 off coupon PAD. Whoo hoo!!! More makeup for me! And they are happy to gve them to you since it hellps them meet their quotas.
I found the toothpaste easy and couldn’t find the toothbrush–but the manager searched and searched and found one for me. I actually used a 1 off coupon from my Sept All me for the toothpaste.

hey, at my WALMART theres a 1.50 off the pro-relief toothpaste OR toothbrush tearpad. IN FACT at the end of the toothpaste aisle [furthest from the main aisle] there was a whole display set up and there were THREE tearpads! it coincided with the q that was in the paper saying its new at walmart [though available other places, obviously.] next time youre there, it might be worth a look!

and 2 $3 Register rewards, so I thought I was going to pay $2 and get a $5 RR, BUT
When the cashier rang it up he scanned the MQ’s first, but when he went to scan the RR it beeped and wouldn’t go through. He said it was because I used two of the same coupons and you can’t do that! The RR weren’t from a previous cookie purchase. I had never heard of this. His only solution was to take off the MQ’s and then use the RR’s. So, I lost out on those 2/$1 MQ’s. (this was all I bought, so I had the right number of coupons, 4 for 4 items) What went wrong?
All of the mq’s you used were attached to your items purchased. You needed 2 filler items to use your RRs. I’ve learned that the hard way. ๐

one qpon per item unless the qpon states how many it’s for like yours said 1 dollar off 2 so you can only use one qpon per two cookies you needed two filler items in order to be able to use ur 2 rewards
Yep…those $1/2 coupons (or any $/# for that matter) attach to both items. So, even though you had one coupon, it counted as two. I learned that the hard way too. ๐
yep, those $ off of # coupons get everyone. if you did the hot pocket deal, the $ off 3 attaches to three items. always look for those. My mom and I stand by cosmetics and go through our scenarios, count the coupons per item, add fillers for RR if needed before we check out. always good to go with a friend as we double check eachother. works out so nice as we always find another good deal or we catch a mistake.
My advice is, always call the manager (in your nicest voice), see if they can figure out the “little misunderstanding”. You followed the rules, so they should follow theirs ๐

I did the awesome Revlon deal tonight! My mascaras had bonus eyeliners with them, and I was able to get the blush with bonus bronzer ๐ I was super excited. All of my 1/1 mq’s beeped for some reason, but the lady pushed them all thru. Thanks so much for the deal ideas!
I had that happen this week as Wags also and I’ve been couponing for a while so don’t feel bad. One thing I do is take extra fillers to the register with me “just in case.” If I get to ther Reg Rewards and they beep I have the fillers handy to make it work. If I don’t need them I just tell the cashier that I do not want them and go put them back when I’m done with my transactions.

I am a religious follower of yours since I am an AVID Wags shopper and usually I stay quiet online BUT I have to give you hundreds of thousands of props for working out this deal!!!!! I am amazed.
I was super pumped to try it myself (since I was desperately in need of blush and mascara) and walked away with 3 mascaras (one with bonus shadow), 3 single shadows, a shadow pallet and a blush. Paid $4.01 OOP and got the $3 RR. PSYCHED!!!! OH there was a $2 Peelie on a shadow so that made my experience that much better.
The prices weren’t ringing up correctly so the sweet cashier price modified my prices (ALL mascaras and shadow pallet were on sale for $5.99 plus the 40%). As a bonus for me he accidently price modified my blush. ๐

I have had good luck at Walgreens for the most part but the dates and sources for the coupons don’t match up. I cannot find the $2/1 Revlon coupon anywhere. I did find some $1/1 Revlon coupons but not in the smart source quoted. Also I have never found anything but the Walgreens monthly book in the stores?????
The $2 q is from the July 24th Smart source in a walgreens spread (tho it was regional) Someone stated the coupon code 5829 would work? Hope that helps! If not I have seen them on ebay!

My Wags did not give me a 3 RR with the Revlon $10 purchase. They said the RR was for the SaturDATE deal only. I used my MQ and Wags Q, and bought over $13, but it didnt RR for me. I know I must have done something wrong… I didnt do the deal as quoted, but all my items were Revlon and total after 40% off was around $13. Did the Wags Q void the RR since it took off $6? Anyone know what I did wrong? I didnt do a return since I had all the coupons, but this should have been free with the RR and I ended up paying about $5
yes the reason why you didnt get the 3 rr beause your total has to be ten dollars after the manufacture coupons for the rr to print so thats why she gave us the scenario with the purchases being around 23-26 dollars…once the subtracted your dollar off coupons you were not at a ten dollar purchase..i hope this help you

Wags would not let me use my $1/1 coupons for revlon. I got exactly what you had put in the posts and they wouldn’t let me get them. They told me it was not the right product. Any suggestions? I also drove all the way there for nothing as I live out of town. Not happy ๐
Thats bs! Perhaps point out where it says ‘any’ and if nothing else put your foot down and ask for a manager! but remember no one wants to help a mean person so just be nice about it. You can also point out that they will be fully reimbursed for it and will actually make the 8 extra cents for sending in a coupon!

I was fortunate to have aquired the Pro Sensitive Coupon, BUT!!!! I WENT TO 3 WALGREENS in the areas and they were all sold out. And this was about 10am on a Sunday morning. Wow. I wasn’t able to find them during the previous week as well. Oh well. darn it. I can only find the Colgate Sensitive, but no ProSensitive.
So I am aware that you need to have the same amount of items for the same amount of coupons in the same transaction, so my question is, Is the revlon walgreen coupon considered only one coupon are one per item? Does anyone know?

you only need one wags coupon per purchase it will automatically take 2 off all the revlon products.
I did this deal exactly how you showed it and it just went all wrong. Total before coupons rang up as $40!! I even made sure the prices came up right. Rang through the coupons and it made the total oop $22.00! I have no idea what was going on so I just had them void it and did my regular transaction and that one rang up awful too. So I paid for my regular transaction even though I knew it was wrong and went down the street to fix it because the cashier had such an attitude I just wanted to get out of there. =( Maybe I’ll try it again later this week. I’m super bummed out though.

I went tonight and got the photo ready foundation with bonus concealer, 2 eye pallettes, just bitten lip gloss, mascara with a $2 peelie attached, liquid liner, 3 snickers, a caramel and paid $2.37 out of pocket between two transactions, and got $6 RR!
I also went the other night and got under eye concealer, lipstick and mascara with bonus eyeshadow and paid only tax. Got $3 RR.

I bought 2 nai polishes tonight and they worked on the deal. AND my Walgreens was giving the $2 Walgreens Revlon coupon at the cosmetic counter tonight!
So basically the cheaper the items, the less the total will be in the end for everything? ie- stock up on eye shadows, etc. to bring the cost of the more expensive items down?

Just curious….I’ve been having a great time with this Revlon deal but do you know if the 40% should be off the advertised sale price or off the original price? The Grow Lucious Fabulash mascara says it’s on sale for $5.99 (reg $7.99) and when it rings up, the 40% is off the regular price. I bought 6 of these combined with some other Revlon items and they rang up $4.79…..not complaining, got a great deal with the bonus shadows and stacking coupons but just wondered if technically, should it be off the sale price or regular price? I’m in the south where we did not get the $2 W coupon, but I bought some online. I went to two stores. One has all Revlon on sale (ex mascara reg $8.99 now $5.99) and has notes up that it is 40% off – but 40% off 8.99 is actually $5.39. I looked at Wags online and saw the same product for $5.99 there. Another store just has some items at a discount (the online price) but no notes about 40%. My weekly flyer says on Saturday btw 10-5 Revlon will be 40% reg prices plus get the RR.
About the $2 coupon, it rings up as a manufacturing Q so the clerk has to call the manager and override the register to allow the $1 Q to go through, too. So I know I can get the deal of 40% off regular price plus the RRs, but not until Saturday and not without getting the manager and clerk involved in forcing the second coupon. There are only 6 or so products available priced $5.99 reg for the entire display at one store (none at the other) and my OOP will be higher.
Worked for me… The clerk kept the $2 WAG Coupon because it’s reuseable. I dont mind sharing ๐
I went yesterday and I had the best cashier! I had to get the $1 Revlon coupons from a clipping service because they never came in my paper. I got them yesterday and then automatically thought that I had the Walgreens $2 coupon in my book. I didn’t!!! I read this post and asked the cashier when I walked in if she would just take the code and she was so cool about it. I bought 2 cream shadow palettes, 3 single shadows, 1 mascara, and 1 blush, the lysol hands free soap dispenser, colgate toothpaste, and 2 little filler notebooks for $11 out of pocket and got $9 rr. I didn’t get the $3 rr for Revlon, but I am totally fine with that. Thanks for everyone that gave the code! I am super grateful!
I plan on doing the Revlon deal today but unfortunately I don’t have any $1 off Revlon coupons ๎ I do have the $2 off Wags Q and $6 RR from the dove deal. Can I use the wags q and the RR for this deal? If so which one do I give the clerk first?
My cashier rang up the $2 Wags Q before I had a chance to give her my $1/1 MQ’s and I also had the $6 RR from the Dove deal. And just for giggles, I also had a raincheck for the Keri lotion. I had very patient cashier and cosmetic manager, who got it all sorted out and I got the $3 Revlon RR and the $5 Keri RR.
So the Wags Q and the Dove RR will work, but be prepared to have them call a manager if necessary. It will work though – Good Luck!
I did this deal tonight and got 3 Custom Eyes mascaras with bonus satin eye shadows, 1 Fabulash mascara with a bonus ColorStay eye liner, 1 ColorStay eye shadow quad, 1 ColorStay eyeliner with bonus liquid eye pen, and two scented nail polishes.
That’s 13 Revlon cosmetic items and I only paid $5.27 out of pocket! (It was a hot mess at the register with 8 $1/1 coupons, the $2 Wags coupon and a RR from the Dove singles deal though) The cosmetic manager and the cashier were super friendly and did a fantastic job getting it all sorted out – which is unusual in my experience at Wags sometimes)

Another deal that did not work for me was the Dove $6 RR moneymaker deal I saw many blogs posting about. I was so curious that I made a special trip to try buying the 3 single bards of Dove using the in-ad coupon making them 99ยข each, expecting the $6 RR to print out, per the many articles and posts. Another Boo-Hoo let down.
I updated that deal – it only lasted one day. (the Dove that is) ๐
This Revlon deal totally messed me up today. Well, not your scenario’s, it was the way they were ringing up today. In addition to the 40% off, it was also giving tomorrows buy 1 get 1 50% off. Yikes! First trx I didn’t get a rr so I figured something was wrong. I looked at the receipt and it was wacky but i figured that with the extra 50% off that it was taking, i needed to add a few more items. it was a mess! hope no one else ran into this!
