So, I dont really know the prices of finish that well, but for the gel pacs would that be a good price to buy like 2 or 3? Or does it ever go cheaper than that?

If I want to use a $1 RR, I need to either buy a “filler” (the pantyhose) or just not use the $1 MQ- right?

I cannot find the Walgreens coupon in 5-22 SS – is this regional by chance?

I can’t find the Walgreens coupon either in S.S 5/22.
Has anyone in Charlotte seen it??

I would always use the manufacturers Q’s fi

First then if u want to use your RR do so but it just depends on how many items total u have whether u will have to have a filler because your Q’s can’t exceed your items

I clicked on the link for the coupons, registered and could not find the print button…does anybody know where it is on the page?

It should take you to a whole bunch of coupons – they should be under Special Offers & then under home care.

I still have that walgreens coupon. If I bought both, would it do what the ad coupons do and take $3 off?

Reply

Julie June 6, 2011 at 9:55 pm

yes it would take $3 off but you would only get one RR

-$1.50/1 Finish 20pk, Finish Jet Dry, 8.45oz (5323) 05-22-11 SS (Walgreens coupon)

Is this a MQ or a Walgreen’s because I am not finding this either in the 5/22/2011 SS (Walgreens coupon), nor in the June coupon book or in the ad….

it was a special insert in the SS 5/22 coupons that came out. It was in mine it had a bunch of different coupons only good at Walgreens. I live in Nebraska if that helps.

Hi Christie,

I had a real issue using the $1.50/1 Finish wags coupon because it rang up as a MQ! Really messed up my coupon to item ratio and I couldn’t understand why my RR wouldn’t go through. The cashier kept insisting that I was dipping into the tax and I assured her my RR was way under the subtotal. I begrudging grabbed an m&m by the cashier and the rr went through. When I reviewed the receipt that’s when I figured out it was a coupon to item ratio issue. Odd part was it accepted the $0.75 my Internet printable as MQ with no beepage! You’d think 2 MQs on a product would beep. Out of curiosity, I spoke to the manager and asked him why this wags coupon which was a clearly coded 4 digit wags coupon came up as a MQ, and he told me it was in their new 18 pg policy. Anyone else have this problem? Sorry so long!

Rie – what else did you buy. Mine rang up that way too but I had no issues. Did you buy anything with a $1/2 or a $1/3 or something similar?

Christie- yes, I did use a $2/2 cat for reach. I’ve used MQs like this before and it has always counted as 1 MQ for me.

Also the cashier took the jet dry coupon and said I couldn’t reuse it for another transaction.

Rie – I would bet that’s what the issue was. My Jet Dry Wags Q also rang up as a MQ but it didn’t attach to anything.

I am not looking at the $2/2 that you used but it all depends on the way the coupon is coded and there are plenty of $OFF/2 that are coded to attach to both.

I left Walgreens very frustrated over this deal today. I planned on buying four of the gel pacs all on seperate transactions (so I could get the register rewards). So for the first transaction I did two of them (to save a little time). I told the cashier I wanted to reuse the 5/22 Walgreens Q and he wouldnt let me!? I dont think there was a limit to items on the coupon..but he wouldnt let me reuse it. I figured it would be considered like an in-ad q…but I could only use it once!! So i left with 2/4 gel pacs 🙁

did anyone else have this problem or know why!?

Yeah I think they have a new policy. I haven’t looked online yet though. Everyone keeps telling me they just had a meeting and they no longer take such and such (but she was confused about what it was, just thought mine was it!?!), and the Summer Beauty Book is a MQ even tho it doesn’t have a 5-code, and … I was just so confused myself! They should post the policy changes!!!
I also tried to double dip on the Viactive. Using the ad and the Answers Vitamin booklet. She overrode it but really didn’t understand what she was doing. After her explanation and hearing what the mgr said at je beginning of the transaction, had I been in her shoes, I wouldn’t have let me use it! I hope she doesn’t get in trouble for it. 🙁

They wouldn’t let me use the .75 cents off man Q today for the jet dry. The cashier also said it was a policy change but I found nothing on the website except something saying that you could you one man Q and one ‘APPLICABLE’ Wags Q…is that the change?

Reply

Christie June 8, 2011 at 9:39 pm

No it hasn’t changed. Some employees or managers I guess like to invent their own changes. 🙁

I can’t find the Walgreens coupon. Where did you find it?

They took my Walgreens coupon today and I planned to use it twice. He said I could buy 2 in the same transaction and it would take $3 off. He also said that I wouldn’t get a RR anyway on it since I was using a coupon. So, obviously he doesn’t know what he’s talking about in the first place, so I thought maybe he was wrong for keeping my coupon. The same with the infant care booklet. Half of mine is missing yet I have zero problems using the codes. Unfortunately these don’t have codes… BTW, I had no problems with him taking the .75 coupon with the Walgreens coupon.
