Revlon Pedicure Shower Kits $1.95

by Christie Bisbee on December 29, 2010

I found an awesome deal on the Revlon Pedi-EXPERT Shower Pedicure kit. If you find these on clearance at your store you can get a fabulous deal, especially with Revlon ringing up B1G1 50% off this week.

Buy
2 – Revlon Pedi-Expert Shower Kit $2.59 B1G1 50%
Total = $3.89 or $1.95 EACH!

I did try the coupon in the December coupon book but it was for a different, specific Pedicure kit and didn’t work for me. My cashier wouldn’t even try the $1/1 Revlon Cosmetics in the Bright & Beautiful Booklet (I did my best) but if that coupon works you’d be looking at these for just $.98 each! If any of you try it let us know how it goes.

I was happy with this deal even without any coupons, imagine that! 🙂

I bought these last week at my store when they were buy one get one half off and clearanced to $5. My cashier took the Revlon coupon, but it did beep. The coupon in the book just says “Pedi-Expert” which, this is. It is definitely worth it to try the coupons, since in my opinion it should qualify.

I should have said she took the $3 coupon from the December coupon booklet (not the $1 Q for cosmetics).

You should try to ask your cosmo if she has Revlon coupons under the counter. Mine had $1/1 and no beeps. The December coupon probably should work but YMMV and probably will be a no go after a lot of hassle.

that wasn’t clearanced at my store! neutrogena lipstick and some eye shadow was!! I got eye shadow for $.29 (clearanced for $2.29)and some very nice (smooth) lipstick for $.49 (clearanced for $2.49) using the $2 off from the bright and beautiful book before using RR to pay for it! 🙂 I stocked up on it and probably got more than I should have… maybe I’ll donate some to an abused womans shelter or something.

My store had them clearanced for $5.l9 and BGLP worked but the $3/1 coupon in the Walgreen’s coupon booklet beeped and they wouldn’t let it go. Tried the $1/1 Relon Cosmetics in the Everything Bright and Beautiful Booklet and that beeped too. Would have been okay if the $3 coupon would have worked but not at that price so I had them void the transaction and left. Win some, lose some. I tried, would have been nice in a spa bag.

I found 1 store in my area (Marion County, FL) with a price of 7.49 on these & another store with a price of 5.49 (had them scanned in both stores & they were ringing at the price posted). I tried to buy 2 at the 5.49 price but they would not take the $3 coupon, so I voided my whole transaction. I would like to have Dianne’s attitude of “win some, lose some” but it seems that the majority of deals I try at Wags are a hassle.

I didn’t go to my regular walgreen’s today and when I tried to buy the clearance ones on a buy one get one 50 off the cashier and mgr told me that you can’t do a bogo 50 on a clearance item. Is that true?

I went today to see if I could get in on this deal. I am new to wags shopping but thought this would make a good start to next years christmas. My store had them on clearance for 2.59 and bogo 50% off so I took 2 to the register and handed the cashier the wags 3.00 off coupon and it did beep. The cashier was like they both say revelon and pedi expert even though the picture is different it should work. She told me that if it was a manufactor coupon she could adjust it down but not with a wags q but she still thought I should be able to use it so she called her manager and they come up with sell them each to me for a penny. Well with the bogo 50% off and no tax on the other penny thats all I paid op .01 for both. Yay me!! Hope some of you others get in on this deal.

Lisa – that’s awesome! You have a very coupon friendly store!

Jodi- I find most clearance items do ring up B1G1 if there is a B1G1 sale. I think your cashier was either being difficult or your manager has made up some silly rules for his/her store. If you have another Walgreens, try there.

Like I said in my post the $3/1 beeped for me as did the $1/1 Bright & Beautiful coupon. I felt they were still a great deal without any coupons so I bought them anyway.

@ Jodi: NOT TRUE. I suggest you go to another location if you can. The registers NEARLY ALWAYS (at least in my experience) AUTOMATICALLY take 50% off the 2nd item, whether it’s clearanced or not. What? Are WG employees and managers now trying to override their own systems to keep customers from getting a “too good” a deal?

By the way, manufacturers give incentives and otherwise compensate stores for clearancing their items to make room for their new products. Coupons or not. Clearanced or not. The store benefits when we shop there. Why are some so stubborn to understand this and, in so doing, mis-informing their customers? In my entire life, I’ve never held a job in which I can remember making stuff up to customers or fellow employees. Or even just flying by the seat of my pants for lack of understanding of the workings of my and others’ jobs.

Whew! Sorry about the rant. I almost deleted it, but My New Year’s resolution is to not let it get to me, so I had to work one last *sheeeeesh* in before midnight 🙂

Please…..rant all you want. Normally I would have argued with them but I didn’t have it in me that day. Ha ha. In fact I am having a hard time finding any if tts walgreens coupon friendly even though they are almost on every corner in my area. You all are lucky you have such great stores to shop in. Thank you for the information.
