Walgreens September Coupon Book

by Christie Bisbee on August 22, 2011

Here is a sneak peak at the coupons in the Walgreens September Coupon Book that starts 8/28 and runs thru 9/24.

I’ll be back later in the week with match ups for all of these. There are a lot of good coupons this month for candy and treats and I really like the L’Oreal, Neutrogena and Band-aid coupons.

Once those are done I’ll add it to the Walgreens Coupon Page on my site. You can always access it by going to my toolbar under “Walgreens Coupons”.

Hi Christie,

Is it true that you cannot use your previous RR to purchase items now at Walgreens? I have read from different blogs that they used their previous RRs for items that should give back new RRs and they are not being printed as advertised. The comments explained that Walgreens are tightening their rules about using the RRs. If you use RRs to purchase your items, it will not print the RRs even if they are advertised to have one. Is this true?

Thanks.

Just did it this morning with no problems!

I had a problem once but I’ve been very careful to not risk it happening again. If you use a RR from one item to buy a different item that has a RR coming – it shouldn’t be a problem. What the store told me caused the problem in my circumstance was that I used a RR that I received from buying licorice to purchase more licorice later that week and since it says only one offer it didn’t print me another RR because it recognized that I had already recieved that offer. I hope that helps answer your question.

We were told by a Walgreens manager, to look at the manufacturer of the RR and the product, because it will only print one (1) if it is not the same mfg. IE: If you previously purchased an item from Playtex and are using the Playtex RR to purchase another box of Playtex, it will NOT print a RR because it is the same mfg. BUT, if you use the Playtex RR to purchase Tampax Pearls, it WILL print a RR for the Tampax, but not Playtex. So, you have to mix and match the RR and products, so you can use them all. We are successful in doing so, and have saved as much as 83% at times using RR and coupons, double stacking on the Walgreens Coupons and the coupons for same items. Got some stuff for FREE!! Successful shopping!

you can not purchase the same offer with rr and get new rr. For example you can not go in and buy crest get rr and in another transaction buy crest again and use crest rr if you do a new rr will not print.

I also find them at the end of he aisles on the end cap area. Plus sometimes I just ask for one.

They’re in the front of the store around the weekly sale papers. The coupons can be used all month long, you shouldn’t have to tear them out.

Does anyone have this in their hands? I’m curious on the Osteo Bi-flex if there is a Size restriction? Just wondering b/c this is something that i buy for my MIL and her parents regularly and also have some high dollar couposn to use to match with this.

i bought the osteo biflex B1G1 with 2 $7 coupons and a 1 Walgreens $3 coupon from the W vitamins and minerals book (free in store) but the cashier will not take the walgreens Q. I thought I could stack them but it would only take 2 coupons. Anyone know about this? It was still a good deal

You have to count the total items, minus your regular Q’s and then your RR. Q’s + RR cannot equal more than items purchased. IE: If you have 7 items and 4 Q’s and 4 RR, then you must have a “filler”, small items with only a WGQ or no coupon at all. Works for us every time.

Some of the W coupons in the books in stores are now showing up as manufacturer coupons (they’ll have a barcode like a regular manufacturer coupon instead of the 5 digit number under the store coupons)

I am assuming it is the code that the cashier can put in if you don’t have the coupon book or it won’t scan.

Reply

Mary August 22, 2011 at 12:24 pm

your correct, that’s the code

Ginger August 23, 2011 at 3:56 am

I was actually asking about the includes .09 free part..

Reply

DeLynne August 23, 2011 at 9:02 am

I think she means the sale includes the .09oz & it ends up being FREE after the coupon. I hope that helps. 🙂
