NEW Spring Beauty Coupon Booklet!

by Christie Bisbee on March 5, 2011

There is a NEW booklet of Walgreens coupons available! Molly (who is awesome at finding these booklets!) found this booklet at her store.  They all expire 4/30/11.

They are all Walgreens coupons, with the exception of the ROC coupon, that appears to have a barcode and wording like a MQ.

The REALLY unusual thing about these booklets is that the coupons have no numbers. There are no 4 digit codes, only bar codes. Even the one MQ has no numbers. Bizarre.  So you would need the actual booklet to use the coupon.  I hope these will be easier to find than the Infant Care Booklets!

I’ll do match ups for these in the next couple of days and add them to the list of store coupons that you can find on my toolbar. In the meantime, her are the coupons inside…

$5/1 ActiFade Precision Age-Defying Complex 2oz, & three concealers, 0.2 oz ea
$2/1 Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup or Moisturizer
$1/1 any ROC Product
$1/1 Revlon Cosmetics

If you have barcode reader on your phone, you should be able to scan the barcode and get the numbers associated with it. That might help us identify if they are true MQ’s or IVC’s

Where was it located in the store? By the cosmetic counter?

Yes – You should find it at cosmetics but these are new so it may take a few days. I’m hoping they won’t be hard to find. (Fingers Crossed!)

The back of these coupons say they are MQ.

All of the coupons except the ROC one say “Manufacturer coupon good only at Walgreens.” The ROC coupon says “Redeem at Food, Drug or Discount stores accepting coupons.”

Parker – So do all the coupons in the monthly book – that doesn’t mean that they are MQ, they aren’t. No other store can take them, they are just Wags Qs. You can only use them at Wags. They don’t get sent to redemption and they don’t even need to take them from you. They are all Instant Value Coupons (IVC) like it says on the front.

I can call my cat a Lion, he’s still just a cat. 😉

Ironically the ROC coupon is actually a MQ. Look at the bar code and you can tell, and it has an address for it to be sent to redemption. However, with no numbers and just the bar code you may not have much luck using them anywhere else. And they all say Walgreens instant value coupon on the front.

Guess I’ve never paid that close of attention to the wording on the IVC books. Glad I was wrong on this one because now the Revlon I want will be an even better deal next week! 🙂

Parker – Yes, it’s sort of strange and I don’t know why they do it. They even advertise often to use a MQ and a Q in the Monthly book. Silly if you ask me. 🙂

If these are anything like the Infant Care Booklet I won’t hold my breath on finding them at my Wags!

The BA at our store had already taped the coupons from this booklet on her counter for easy scanning. I used one of the coupons today, and she just scanned the one on her counter, allowing me to keep my copy of the booklet in tact. Felt very different than the Infant Care Booklet scenario.

Now I was told that you don’t have to clip the monthly walgreens coupons you just hand them the book and they will scan it and hand it back. Is this true? If so do I have to clip any of the walgreens coupons like the infant ones or can I do the same thing with them and hand them the whole coupon flyer?

Kersandra – I have never clipped a single Walgreens coupon. You can indeed just show it to them or hand them the flyer or the booklet. Plus that way you have a greater chance of getting it bak and being able to reuse it! 🙂

I happened to come across this booklet today. The BA then told me that there was a special 40% off all Maybelline except eye products today only. The “Fit Me” blush was down to $3.29 (reg. $5.49). Using some $3/2 coupons from the 2/6 RP, along with the $1 Wags coupon in this book, I was able to get the blush for $.29 each.
