Hello I have a question regarding Walgreens coupon policy. I was told today Walgreens policy states the store can control the amount of an item I want to purchase. For example, I wanted to purchase a box of the 2/1.00 easter mm. And the cashier and manager told me they can control the amount they will sale me. Is this correct? How do I contact the regional manager?

Yes it’s correct. A store can set limits on whatever they want. If they, for example, only had two boxes left of said candy, they might not let you buy a whole box. +the ad states limit 10 anyway.

Question on the hunts it says 3 for 1 dollar can we still buy just one and still use the coupon?

For the Hunt’s I think it should – some of the items say 1 for $$$ or 3/$$$$ but this one doesn’t, if it rings up more just grab some other cheap filler.

Lt, that is one hundred percent correct. Each store has the right to set limits on how many things one person can buy so that way they can Control shelf clearing. If you want a large number of something you should probably ask them to special order it before the sale starts.

the walgreens policy does state that. It is because walgreens is not a warehouse and product is limited. The manager has say over the amount you can purchase at one time. But you can always call 1-800-Walgreens

Just a heads up, in the new issue of Better Homes and Gardens, There is a coupon for $1 off glade expressions. I’m mentioning it because the subscription was a freebie from Arm and Hammer baking soda so some of you might be getting this.

just fyi…..extra coupons are printing at register! I got 2 schick hydro shave gels, 2 coffee mates and 1 glade expressions. It printed out 5 other coupons! one for axe, one for stop pain, some kind of sleep aid, coffee coupon and a deo coupon. I dont know if it was the combo I checked out or just some random print. I used the sleep aid coupon and the stop pain coupon because I was able to get both products for free, and they both printed extra dollor off coupons for next purchase of that item.

I have a $10 RR expiring tomorrow from the coke deal a few weeks back, can I group the deals for rr’s together, pay with the $10rr and get all the rr’s for the other deals as well?

Well today was the day my Walgreens decided to start a “one transaction per customer per day” policy. Should have seen it coming with all the problems I’ve been having recently :/ Guess my Wags couponing days are winding down. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted! Maybe I’ll still do a few deals here and there, but without being able to roll my register rewards to keep my OOP low or having to drive there multiple times a week…it makes it a lot less cost productive.

That seems a little silly. I myself have had to run out to the drug store multiple times in a day, and not even to roll RRs, but because I forgot things etc. And sometimes having a new born, I have to do things in seperate transactions, because things get heavy and I need to bring them to the car and come back.

Sometimes I’ll do one big transaction with everything, and then get a nice supply of RR to roll from week to week, again just doing 1 transaction.

Just wait for a good week to jump back in (I have a feeling we’ll have one in April) and do one large transaction. Once you do that once, then you can continue to do that for a while. πŸ˜‰

When the manager told me I was pretty shocked – I said “Really?!? So I can’t come back later today and buy some milk if I forget it now? Or since I saw Tampax on clearance and I know I have coupons at home I can’t stop by later and pick some up?” She hemmed and hmmm’d at that a little bit and then decided that actually the policy [that she was making up] was one transaction with any items with a register reward per day. I’ll see what I can do – it’s just really hard with only a 2 week expiration on the RRs.

Sorry that you’re having those problems Jen. That was a good point you made! Maybe if there were a couple transactions you could bring a friend/relative/anyone to come with you. It may not always work, but it could help? Another thing you could do is check out the iheartwags website because she has upcoming ads. This way, you could know more in advance what RR deals were happening and could plan accordingly. So instead of worrying about how to use the RR for something that wouldn’t “roll” you could figure out what might be possible in the next couple of weeks. Crossing my fingers that it gets better for you πŸ™‚

Is that even at the Beauty counter where they need to sell so much per day? Hopefully you just caught the manager on a bad day/bad time. Perhaps if you visit the store during a quiet time when you know someone is working at the beauty counter…

I know some of you will think that I bought too many but with 4 kids…well. So I went to my walgreens this morning and I bought 10 boxes of cereal since they were .99 cents and it printed me a 4 dollar register reward, so I really only paid around 6 dollars for 10 boxes of cereal YHAY!! It pays to stock up πŸ™‚ Oh not only that I found the shredded wheat that had a coupon for a FREE DEL MONTE FRUIT NATURALS CUP!! and I happende to also find a Fruti Pebbles that had a FREE SIX FLAGS KIDS ADMISION TICKET!! inside (I did pay 1.99 for that one though, but it was well worth it! πŸ˜€

Hi, Wags is printing a catalina to go with the sale on the Viva paper towel 6 pk. If you buy 2 you get $4.00, buy 3 or more get $5.00. I bought 2 today and used the 1.00 WQ from the March booklet & 2 .50/1 from the viva website. Paid $9.00 & got a $4.00 catalina.

Got 2b Select Stylers .35 to 12oz 2/$10 – Get $5RR
Today when I went to pick up my Got 2b Select Stylers and the Register Reward is not printing on ANY of the Select Stylers labled at my store. They gave me no hassle due to the fact I shop at this Walgreens every week and they know me. She gave me a refund for $5 Cash instead of a $5RR. I was happy with that. Just a heads up to watch out for this if you plan on buying them this week.
