Here’s my Walgreens Shopping Scenario for 3/11. If you just do the first 2 transactions you’ll get $15.18 in merchandise, spend $4.18 out of pocket and end up with $4 in Register Rewards. So it’s like you are paying $.18 for everything!
If you want to pick up the Coke products and candy I’ve added a third transaction, that makes it $37.18 in merchandise for $10.18 after coupons and Register Rewards.

Since Right Guard and Coke are month long deals, I went to my store tonight after sale prices were turned on. Both deals still work with no problems and my store had some of the deo on clearance for 2.29 that rings up BOGO and RR printed. There are also some deo with sample bodywash attached. Happy shopping!

Ad says limit of 3 but your store might let you buy six.
You can as long as your store allows you to purchase 6. The limit is (3) in the ad but it’s up to each store if they choose to enforce them. 🙂
With the right guard deal can I get 2 deo and 2 body washes and will the deal work the same as if I got 4 body washes?

Mine did too! I bought four deod and got a $4 RR back. It was a nice surprise.
Could I do 6 12 packs and then use 10 in last weeks RR and still get the RR since its 20 before coupons?

You could get (6) 12 packs instead of the Hersheys candy. I bet they were included because there are coupons available for them so you could get more stuff for less money. It works both ways if you would rather get more soda and not the candy. It would be more money out of pocket.
Are the Whoppers candy eggs included in the Hershey’s/Coke RR?
As far as I know they are not (I have not seen a sign) but I haven’t tried it. I tried Bliss and it didn’t work. 🙁
Hi Christie! I have a question, im new at couponing. It says above that if you purchase 2 Right Guard (B1G1 Free) you will get $2 RR. But i dont see that stated in the walgreens ad for 3/11. Could I be reading it wrong? Can you please explain.

It’s unadvertised so you won’t find it in the ad, it only printed as an advertisement out of the catalina machine, but you can read more about it below. 🙂 (It’s amazing how many deals stores don’t advertise so we come across all kinds of things you’d never know if you only read the ad. ;-)).

So, if we were buying two of those vitamins, plus a couple of $0.20 seed packets (with in ad Q), we could use $4RR from Right Defense and pay less than $1 OOP
Yes – just make sure the $8.99 ones are ringing up with the $4 discount (and try the $7.99 ones too ;-)). I haven’t been there yet to check.
I did 1 one a day for women 8.99 and 1 one a day for men 8.99.
Totalling 17.98.
I used 2-1.75 coupons
Putting my total at 14.48.
Then I used the March store IVC which took $2.00 off
Total now at $12.48.
I noticed the 2-$4.00 off (per the Wags ad) did not come off, but a FIVE dollar Bayer Catalina did shoot out after I paid. I took my receipt to the manager who promptly apologized and gave me the $8.00 back that the register didn’t take off initially. SO….including the mystery $5.00 catalina (even checked couponnetwork.com to see if I missed something). My 17.98 in vitamins turned into a .52¢ moneymaker. YEAH!
i got the RR too but i thought it was for the bayer aspirin i bought because that is what the upc matched…l
well, at my store 100 ct were ringing up at $9.99 and they were NOT included in $4 off deal, even though their ad stated “50 to 200 ct”. Store manager gave me that discount but in the end I paid $3.24/ea- still very good deal.
In transaction 2 do we need filler item if its 4 itmes and 2 coupons and 1 rr.? Thank-you 🙂
I was wondering about that too but since we have more items than coupons it should work right? I’m also thinking, if the deo and bw are on clearance for 2.29 and its B1G1 it’ll be 4.58 but I plan to use (2) 3/2 Q. Do i need to get something for the overage? Thanks..=)
If you plan on using (2) $3/2 Qs on the B1G1 clearance then it will beep. It happened to me this morning. What I did was use (1) $3/2 and (1) $1/2 Q, that should bring the total to $0.58+tax, without having to deal with fillers. The $1/2 Q can be found on the Right Guard facebook page.
Depending on how the coupon is coded the $/2 coupons may attach to the two items you are buying with it – so it’s taking up two slots.
You can try it without (I don’t have the coupon in front of me) but I would strongly suggest having the filler with you because there’s a really good chance you’ll get beeps and need to throw it in. Hope that helps! 🙂
It did beep when I tried this morning so I got a filler. I forgot about the 1/1 Q. Went back this afternoon and did the new transaction you showed us with the 2.29. So I paid .90 got back 4RR. Thanks ladies =)
I am at Walgreen’s now. Bought 6 12 pack Cokes + other items, $10 RR
did not print! I used several non Coke/Hershey RRs to bring total to less than $5
Just recalled it being discussed that total must ring up above $20 for RR to print
They voided whole transaction and this time I did cokes only with no coupons and $10 RR printed
I have been trying to tell people this on different blogs, but no one is listening to me. It has happened to me twice. I tried it the second time to be sure that was why and it was. Glad they fixed it for you.
I purchased (6) 12 pks of various Coke products and my OOP using RRs from previous weeks was .21 and the RR printed just fine.
I bought 6 of the planters peanuts for $21, used 3 $1.50/2 coupons bringing my total under $20 and the $10 RR printed for me. I also used $17 in RR (which my cashier had to manually enter as manf. coupons) to pay for them so it was only .50 out of pocket and $10 RR for next week.
I did transactions a few ways and think I have the problem figured out. If your RR is under the cost of the Coke (like a $2 or $3 RR) the RR will attach to the Coke as a coupon (on my receipt it says Coke MFG CPN $2), and it messes up the total. If you use a RR for higher than the cost of the Cokes, like a $4 or $5 RR, it doesn’t attach them to the Cokes, it just says MFG CPN at the end of the receipt and the RR prints fine. It is weird how this is working.
Right guard body wash rr is not working as expected. 🙁 The free ones are NOT counting so I only got a $1 rr for buying two rather than the $4 one for buying 4. Still a decent deal but thought I would let everyone know.

The body wash did not produce a RR for me either, but the deodorant did. Is maybe the body wash not included in the RR deal?
The catalina deal is supposed to include the whole Right Guard Total Defense 5 line, the deal says “products” so includes both. I’ve read on another site a few people having the rr not print. You could always return and try it again. I did the deal on Saturday when I was at Wags and saw the deodorant for $1.99 each (shoulda waited, they would’ve been an even bigger moneymaker today!) so I got 8 and they printed just fine.
The clearance right guard worked great for me as well! Even after I used my $3 coupons, I bought more because buying four was still only .58 (2.29X2-$4RR)! Then you can rotate them with Irish Spring deal…bought 22 deodorants today still leaving a ton for other people and enough to last my family for a few months at least!

Has anyone tried the one a day (mens) today at all?? i tried the 100ct that comes in the box and would not work, the cashier told me its just for the womens bottle, so could someone please tell me whats working and what bottle/box you got???
I got 100 ct Women’s and it wasn’t included in $4off deal. Apparently “50 to 200ct” in their mind excludes 100 ct. Go figure

Heads up!! The Hersheys Easter Candy is not the right size bags for the RR deal.
The Right Guard bodywash and the Coke deals both worked fine for me. I wonder why the RRs aren’t printing for some people……

No, I think my total was around $12 (after tax). I just got 6 diet cokes at that store. I used RRs from the huggies wipes deal and one from last week’s colgate. So I guess I used $9 in RR.
I got 6 coke products used 5 rr for a toal of $20 only paide $1.02 tax I used 2 @ $5 (the mist ones from last week) 1@4 (right gard) 1@ $3 ( Irish spring) 1@$3 Colgate = 20 in RR I used to pay and got the $10 one back.
I bought clearanced right guard (without coupons, used those last week because I wasn’t sure if the clearanced stuff would still be there). They were 2.29 BOGO. Got 4 and the 4RR printed. 14 cents per deodorant ain’t bad.
I also did the coke deal twice. I used RR from the past (rembrant ones from yesterday) and the 10RR printed both times.

oh, and the One A Day 60 count priced at 7.99 was not working for the $4 off, but my store adjusted the price to 3,99 and then I used the $2 off coupon from an insert and the $1 off coupon from the monthly book!

Yes, you can just buy one of the seed packets (or however many you might need as fillers). I would assume you could donate them although I’m not sure exactly where.
I am a bit confused on the coke deal. Can someone please explain if the total has to be $20 to get the RR or can you bring your total down with previous RR and STILL get the the $10 RR ?
I would love to do the Coke/candy deal using a combo of RR from Huggies (expire today) and free 12-pk MQs from MCR. Has anyone had any issues getting the $10 RR to print when there is zero OOP?

Today I bought 3 of the women’s one a day and 2 of the men’s and they both rang up at normal price ( 7.99 and 8.99) but i didn’t notice til i left so i will figure out what to do about that later lol. i also bought 4 of the bayer aspirins and the right guard deal and got the $4 right guard RR and also a $5 bayer one- the upc code matches the aspirin though and not the vitamins?? so not sure which one made it print

its a bottle in a box lol – they were just the normal ones- like 100 ct. i believe- but no they did not ring up with the $4 off- I am going in today to return them haha
One of our local Walgreens stores had some of the Right Guard Total Defense 5 Deodorants on clearance for 2.29. I bought 2 of the regular price and two of the clearance ones so that I could still use my $3 off 2 internet printable coupons. Our stores do not adjust coupons down. The way they rang it up made one of the clearance ones free and one of the regular priced ones free. So the total came to $6.78 and then I had $6 in coupons….and got the $4 catalina….WoooooHooooo 🙂
i got the Right Guard RR to print for the deo and not for the body wash. i am in the louisville, KY area. so weird. still a good deal but i prob wouldn’t have bought all those body washes.
