Garnier Shampoo+Conditioner $.09 EACH!

by Christie Bisbee on May 18, 2011

I found a GREAT deal on the Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo+Conditioner for Normal Hair 25.4oz at my store. These had been reduced in price to $3.59 and were printing the $5 Register Reward when you bought (2)!

If you find it ringing up for the same price at your store you can grab these for just $.09 EACH after the coupon and the Register Reward.

BUY
2 – Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo+Conditioner 25.4oz $3.59 each
Total = $7.18
(2) – $1/1 Garnier Fructis Shampoo, Conditioner Or Treatment, Any (ets) – 05-01-11 RP x8/1
Total = $5.18, Get Back $5 Register Reward
= $.18 or $.09 EACH!

The UPC for these were 603084263882, hope that helps!

Pooey. I live in the New England and our coupon values are usually less and we also don’t get all the coupons in the Sunday papers. Oh well, still a good deal without the coupons.

Thanks. I have lots of other coupons, too. I got lucky on the ones from 5/1 and scored a huge pile in the recycle bin 😉 So let me know if you need any.

what exactly are register rewards??…sry iam new at ths

Register rewards are an automatically generated coupon given to the customer at WAGS for buying specific items. Typically, a RR offer will be listed in the sale ad or on the hang tag. If you buy the specified number of items then you will get the RR. Then you just roll it over on your next purchase like cash. Pretty cool!

RR are Walgreens coupons that print out at the end of the transaction with your receipt. You can use RR on anything in the store with the exception of dairy, prescriptions, and alcohol.

Just so everyone knows, my walgreens has a store coupon behind the cosmetic counter (its not in any kind of booklet, they just had them filed…) for 50 cents off each. Not sure if all of them would have it, but it doesnt hurt to ask! they actually had one stuck underneath these shampoos to show that they had them!! so stack it with the dollar off and you make money!

Carla May 18, 2011 at 10:22 pm

Yes I got those coupons too!!!!!! I also notice that they get samples of perfumes!!!

Rebecca May 18, 2011 at 6:59 pm

sorry people, just looked at my coupon i got from the cosmetic counter, it’s says its a manufacture coupon on it, so its a no go on the stacking.

Carla May 18, 2011 at 10:24 pm

es I noticed that too …..BUT it says redeemable only at Wags so Im wondering if the store will consider it a “STORE COUPON” it wouldnt hurt to ask!

My Walgreens does not have these on markdown, BUT, I just got back from KROGERS, and they have the Garnier marked down to $1.88 each, so you can use your $1/1 coupon to make them .88 each! Not as good of a deal as Walgreens, BUT, if your Walgreens doesn’t have them marked down, this is an option for you.

I read on a blog that several people got a free milk catalina after buying three General Mills cereals? Should we have our coupons in line for next week’s 1.99 sale? Should we expect a cat at Wags for milk?

robin May 18, 2011 at 11:40 pm

Is there a limit to how many catalinas you can get? If I buy 4 bottles will I get two $5.00 RRs?

Juliana May 19, 2011 at 1:51 am

I’m pretty sure you have to split it up into two transactions 🙂

I just stopped by my Wags on the way home from work and they had a different deal going on (Gainesville, FL.) … They had the huge bottles of Garnier that cost 5.99/each with a $5 RR. I guess it would be even cheaper than the other way around!! 🙂

Juliana May 19, 2011 at 1:52 am

My question is: if I buy say Colgate toothpaste which has a $3 RR and the Garnier which has a $5 RR would both print out? I know two of the same RR won’t print in one transaction, but what about two different products?

Reply

Amanda H. May 19, 2011 at 12:48 pm

You only have to separate transactions if you have TWO of the SAME product that produce RR!! Otherwise, you can combine all of the other RR deals and each RR will print out!! 🙂

Juliana May 19, 2011 at 7:49 pm

Awesome 😀 I was worried I’d have to do a million separate transactions this week lol!

I screwed up. The Fructis I bought were smaller and on sale 2/$7. I had 2 $1/1 Q’s and I only got $3 RR. Which made them $1 each. I also got charged $4.49 each for Gilette and Old Spice at the same store that I bought for $3.33 ealier this week! I have to go back. I am pretty sure that I gave her a $4 Q for a Gilette razor and she didn’t ring it up. And I also had buy one BW and get a deod free but she only gave it to me for 50% off because that is what their deal is on Deo this week! I will not be using this store again…..very discouraged!

This deal did not work. The 24 oz is 5.49 and if you buy itwo of those you get the register reward. The krazy coupon lady has it on her site for 3.49. I was very disapointed to day cause i am new at this an it was not the deal I expected.

Cheryl – I’m sorry you didn’t find the same at your store, but I can’t guarantee that you’ll find the exact same item at the exact same price at your store.

That’s why my post reads “If you find it ringing up for the same price at your store”.

I also posted the UPC code for the product I found ringing up at that price and a picture of the specific product and the sign.

I did this deal last night…only my store didn’t have any sign about the $5RR, so I grabbed the 2/$7 bottles (I had 4 all together). So I did seperate transactions so I would get two $5RR, but when I went to do my last transaction (I was doing 3), I noticed I didn’t have those 2 $5RR in my stack. The manager was checking me out, so he went and got the big bottles, rang those up so the RR would print out and let me have the 2 $5RR becasue it wasn’t posted anywhere on the shelf as to what size would print the RR! My wags doesn’t always have all the sale tags listed on the shelves, but they are a great coupon friendly store! I did three transactions last night and saved over $85 and still have a $5RR to use later.

Alisa May 21, 2011 at 8:21 pm

I always think just because i’m from Chicago i’m being punished or something. Everything is always more expensive here. This sucks.
