Possible FREE Secret Deodorant!

by Christie Bisbee on March 27, 2011

Reader Deb sent me this picture ofย  the Secret Clinical a her stores! They don’t carry it at the ones in my neck of the woods but I’m thrilled to see that they carry it in other places.

Also, you’ll notice the regular Secret at Deb’s store is $1.19 and only $.99 at all of my stores. And Lydia let me know that her store has the Secret Clinical for $2.99. So you’ll REALLY want to pay attention to prices and make sure you hit the $10 mark for this deal!

If you find the Secret Clinical at your store, here are some more ideas for the travel sized register reward deal! And if you don’t see it in the travel section, try up near the front register.

Does this work on the trial sized Dial lotion as well? It’s .99 at my store and I have quite a few of those $1/1 coupons.

I have looked for these at my stores…where have you found them in your store? I can’t find them!!
Is someone brave enough to try these with this deal?

THANKS!

It should work get the full price free and pay for the half price. Seriously a YMMV kind of thing though. If you have 2 of these Qs then RA has a better deal this week.

The ad says PARTICIPATING travel size products. Does anyone know if the Secret Clinical is part of the RR deal. It’s not pictured in the ad……. Just a heads up for anyone trying this deal today….not all the travel products are included:)

this morning, when i went there was a tag in front of the clinical deodorant. So, it should be included, at least at my store.

I just got back from our wags and a LOT of our travel items had signs, including secret clinical. I wish I had taken a pic with my cell so I could match coupons ๐Ÿ˜› Old Spice deo was definitely labeled ($1MQ from Everyday Savings book) so that helps a bit.

oh and our reg prices are the higher ones @ $1.19 but are on sale for $.99, $2.99, etc on the same signs mentioing the RR deal.

I got RRs with the Clinical Secret too! There were no signs posted. I had some beeps, but the cashier is so frustrated with the new scanners that she just hit a button and went on.

The $3.00 off clinical came in the mail. I received one last month and another mailer this month full of P&G products. Hope that helps:)

Reply

cammy March 28, 2011 at 12:37 pm

I bought 6 visine. No register reward for me.

amanda March 27, 2011 at 5:53 pm

the P&G coupon is one per transaction. Also, the Skintimate shave gel has travel sizes available also…..& will work with this scenario.

Just made a quick trip, bought 3 clinical strength priced at $2.99 each & 1 travel size baby powder $1.29, used 3 $2 coupons for the secret. The register reward didn’t print & the manager told me it was because I used coupons. I told him thats not what their coupon policy said but he didn’t seem like he would budge & I didn’t feel like making a big deal about $3 so I just left. I wish they had some kind of scanner so you could tell when something is included in a deal, it would make things so much easier.

Reply

Christie March 27, 2011 at 10:08 pm

I’m guessing it was the baby powder. Yes, Amen sister on the scanner, it would make life so much easier!

Anyone seen travel size pert plus at a wags? I have a ton of the $1 off coupons and it does not exclude trial sizes…that would be a sweet deal.

Reply

cd March 27, 2011 at 10:52 pm

Not positive, but I think I saw the Pert at CVS. I’ve never really looked at the travel area in wags. I know that doesn’t answer your question, but just wanted to throw it out there.

Brianna March 27, 2011 at 10:17 pm

ok so I bought
2- secret clinical $2.99ea.
2- old spice $.99 ea
1-Axe body spray $1.99
2-reg secret $.99ea
didn’t get a cat so I’m assuming it was the Axe spray however there were signs by the products that I picked up…..the Axe was supposed to be $1.29 but was mixed with bodywash so maybe the bodywash would work and not the spray….either way, I plan to go back and fix it, I just didn’t have time tonight.

Thanks for posting this. The secret clinical strength wasn’t signed at my store, but it worked for me.

3 – Secret clinical – $2.99 ea (used 3 – $2 q’s)
1 – Pantene Shampoo – $.99 (used $1 q from a mailer)
1 – Pantene Conditioner – $.99 (used $1 q from P&G booklet)

Total cost $2.95 + $.66 tax and earned the $3 RR. That’s the only deodorant I use so I love this deal!

My store did not have enough items that you could use coupons on to make this a good deal. I had to pass on this one.

Reply

SLS March 28, 2011 at 11:29 pm

My store didn’t have signs posted but the deal still worked.

2-Secret Clinical @$3.29 each[used $3 & $2 off coupons]
2-Secret Solid

Reply

SLS March 28, 2011 at 11:33 pm

2-Secret Solid @ $1.19 [used $1 off coupon P&G coupon booklet]
2-Old Spice Deordorant @ $1.19[used $1 off coupon P&G coupon booklet]
paid around $2.34 & got the $3 RR

SLS – How did that work when you didn’t meet the $10 mark?

Reply

Stacey March 29, 2011 at 2:07 pm

I tried this deal today & it did not work! How frustrating! I made sure to go over the $10 mark. Of course, I used coupons on some of the other stuff so I would lose out on those if I decided to return the stuff. I agree…they need a scanner so you can check things yourself!

My favorite Walgreens has my least favorite checker. He always gives me the side eye when I haul out my coupons. Ugh.
