Will this also work if I buy 2 of the Aspirin Chewables or do I need to get two different types of this product?

I was wondering, on the 2nd sample you had a in ad coupon, and then a coupon from the May booklet, wouldn’t those two be considered in ad coupons, and they would only allow using one? Please advise, thank you 🙂

They’re separate. One is a weekly in-ad coupon and the other is a monthly coupon. You can see on their coupon policy that they mention that “Walgreens coupon(s)” may be used to purchase a single item.

Well since no one has bothered to get back to me, i read elsewhere that some Wags will take both, but not all. So I guess I found my answer elsewhere. Thank you so much for your time in putting together these posts.

Emily – Uh, I’m at work (I work a full time job) so getting back to all comments within a just couple of hours is just not always possible for me. But yes, you can use both that’s why I wrote the scenario the way I did.

Hi

Im new for couponing and I am going to go to Walgreen to get the deal. I have $2 off wag Q for Bayer aspirin and 2 $2/1 MQ.
Will they allowed me to use both coupon as I will get the item for free? i have bad experience with Walgreen for couponing lastweek. What should i do if they said can not use both coupon because it made me get it for free?

You should be able to use both. And there is nothing that says you can’t get items free with coupons. However I totally understand that some employees don’t know or understand this and can make it difficult. I suggest bringing the coupon policy with you or trying a more coupon friendly store. 🙂

If the item is $3.99 (it was shelf priced at $4.49 but rang up $3.99 at my store)and you try to use the $2 MQ and $2 ad Q and the register beeps, it’s most likely because the item is cheaper than the coupons so the cashier will have to decrease the $2 MQ to $1.99 and it should go through.

I’ve also put little marks next to the parts of my copy of the Walgreens policy that I use the most (to make pointing out policies to the cashiers go as quickly as possible when I have a line growing behind me). It’s made my Walgreens shopping so much easier!

went to walgreens today.
i got
4 suave lotions 4/$12 2 Bogo Coupons & 1 $1/1
1 pure silk shave cream $2
2 degree deodorants trial size $1.19 – 2 $1/1 q
4 reach tooth brush $0.99 each – use 2 $2/2 q
3 bayer advanced 24 ct asprins – $3.99 each used 1 $1.75/1 and 2 $1.50/1, wags ad q -$6, and 3 wags IVC $1/1

Total OOP w tax $5.84…got back $9.50 in rr

My cashier tried to tell me I could only use 1 coupon total per transaction because it says limit 1 coupon per perchase…ugh she did end up taking them all thankfully.I think she was just pissed cuz her scanner wasnt scanning them. Not my fault it wuldnt even scan the ones from the paper.

I tried using the Walgreens coupon to stack onto the Bayer coupon, but it would not go through at the store…

(1) -$1/1 Bayer Aspirin 24-36ct Wags IVC (5187) May Book (Takes off $1)

They said it was because the $1 coupon is what makes the $4.99 Bayer brand to be $3.99.

I did, however:
-use the $2.00 Bayer coupon (exp: 07/14/11)
-plus the $2.00 Walgrens In Ad Coupon…
-final cost was -$.01+tax= $0.18 cents.

There’s a limit of 3 in qty per person, but the $2.00 Walgreens In Ad coupon is (1) per person, so the cashier did (3) seperate transactions. Saved over $15…

=)

This was my first time doing this (coupon clipping)… I had my husband come with me and we got a total of 6 Bayers for $1.20… woohoo!

We’re donating the medicines to a church, so Thank you so much for your information.
