I took advantage of this offer last time it was available and it was a great deal on the coffee (just $2.50 per 12oz box of coffee). For flavored coffee lovers, I HIGHLY recommend the Southern Pecan Torte – DELICIOUS! The amaretto was also really good. The vanilla nut didn’t have a strong flavor and just tasted like plain coffee. The tea canisters are also included in this deal. We tried the Pear White Tea and it was pretty good and the canister comes with 22 individual servings. The coffee pot was nothing special and had its issues, which is likely why they are including them for free. (Just as a heads up…) Some of our grounds would overflow if we tried to make more than 6 cups at a time, and after about the 5th or 6th time using the coffee maker, it started giving the coffee a burnt plastic smell and taste. It did the same when we ran straight water through it and not even several cycles of vinegar water seemed to help. Unfortunately, when you receive the pot as a promotional item, the exchange process requires you to purchase a new maker (at reg. retail of $59.99) and I was told they would refund your card for the full purchase price when the new pot is received. However, I didn’t want to take any chances on getting another defective pot, or worse, no refund. But hey, for 10 bucks and free shipping, it’s a really good deal, even without the maker.
