wasn’t sure where to put this, so I went with the entry on top! I always see deals posted (here & other sites) using manf coupons with coupons from the Wags monthly book. However, the Wags closest to my home, will NOT allow both claiming they are both manf coupons & connot be used together. I have called the 800wags # and they have confirmed this. so, how do I find a Wags that will take both? do I just take my chances that I may or may not get a good deal?

Try a different store. I have a major issue with this because Walgreens advertises that this is acceptable as you can see from various ads HERE. So clearly someone at your store or the customer service rep you spoke to hasn’t gotten the memo.

Thanks for your input! I will keep copies w/me. Finding another store is not a problem, its the issue itself! and gas prices are a little(HA) high right now to have to go the extra mile!! (being in Chicago, the highest in the nation!!!)

Cathy I am from Chicago and have no problems using a manufacturer coupon with a Walgreens booklet store coupon. Hope this helps 🙂

*** I shop in the southwest side / Midway area

Even though the Wags booklet claims this is a MQ, it actually isn’t; that’s why, if your checker will scan them in, they DO work. If it were another MQ, it wouldn’t scan in correctly.
The Wags coupon is really just a store coupon, despite the “Manufacturer’s Coupon” written on the front.

Also, MQs have barcodes that always start with a 1 or a 5, these start with a 0.

You can put a hat on a cat and call it a dog… but it’s still a cat! Walgreens corporate apparently doesn’t see it that way.

Cathy, I have had the same problem in NW Indiana with mfg and Walgreen coupons. I even discussed it with store manager. I called Wags 800 number and was told it is up to the store manager. It is very frustrating dealing with Walgreens in my area – they never have the products that give RR’s.
