Huggies Wipes Deal at Walgreens

by Christie Bisbee on March 22, 2011

You can grab a 164 or 216 pack of Huggies Wipes this week at Walgreens for just $3.49 EACH!

This deal was in my full ad match ups but didn’t make it into my Super Deals.  Because a few of you have e-mailed me about it I thought I’d highlight it for those of you looking to stock up on wipes. And if you have some profit from buying Tena or Almay, this would be a good way to burn those Register Rewards!

BUY
Huggies Wipes $5.99
-$.50/1 Huggies any package of baby wipes 64ct+ 03-20-11 SS x4/16
-$2/1 Huggies Diapers Big Pack or Wipes 184 or 216 ct. (5519) Infant Care Booklet
= $3.49 EACH!

(Thanks Stephanie, Lydia & Ann)

I also wanted to let you know that if you are on thier mailing list, you should have received a $1 coupon for wipes. So use that instead of the .50 coupon and get the wipes for less than $3!

Did you not put it in the Super Deals because you think this is just an ok price?

Beware – the Infant Care Booklet may need to be re-activated at your store. I hear some reports that it was also deactivated last week in that whole coupon crash.

That happened to me today with the Spring Beauty Guide – of course I heard all kinds of excuses, but they finally realized I was right. Whole book was deactivated.

I still haven’t been able to find the Infant Care booklet at my store. If I tell them the coupon code of 5519 will that work?

If you have a cooperative cashier it will work, unless the book got deactivated at your store then it will come up as “Not on File” and you are SOL. ;/

I’m happy the new wags I go to reactivated their baby book and the beauty book. They’ll be receiving good marks to corporate from me 🙂
I got the wipes for 3.99 which is not as low as others get it for but I think it’s a great deal for what I used to pay before learning these coupon techniques. Thanks!

I am not opposed to great wipes deals, but did want to share with you all that you can save a lot more money making your own wipes.

cut a roll of bounty paper towels in half, mix 2 cups water, 2 tbsp baby oil, 1 tbsp rubbing alchohol, and 1 tbsp baby bath (optional). Pour over half roll of towels and let soak for 30 min. Cardboard middle when then easily slide right out and pull from the middle for your wipes. Keep in a 1 gal container (like an ice cream bucket) with an x cut in top. Catch the bounty on a great sale like wags had a week ago and it is that much cheaper, less than .50 a batch.

Christie,
I tried using the baby booklet on the Wags diapers a couple of weeks ago and the peelie on the wipes for the diapers and they wouldn’t do both because the coupons in the booklet said manu. coupon. I want to get these wipes but I’m not sure if the coupon in the booklet is a manu. or walgreens coupon? They only had one book so they wouldn’t let me keep the book. I guess I’ll just have to go the store and see if they will do it.

Also when I used the Beauty Booklet for the Almay deal it says manu. coupon on it. I thought they we’re suppossed to be Walgreens coupons. I never did get any Almay coupons in the sunday paper to stack with it but it was still a good deal with just the beauty coupon book!

Oh also why does the store and the manu. of the coupons have to make it sooo hard to use their coupons? I can see how it would make people not want to shop there. When I ran into a fellow couponer at Rite Aid she said she won’t shop there for that reason, they make it to complicated to do. THANK YOU for all your hard work and having this blog, to explain how to do it and giving scenarios to look at otherwise to be honest I probably wouldn’t shop there. And for posting the weekly deals early so I can prepare and know what I want to get before I go. I’m always afraid of ending up with a ton of RR’s at the end of my shopping and then having to pay full price for a bunch of stuff just to use the RR’s before they expire. Because I just don’t have the time with 4 kids and hubby in the NG to go more than once a week to shop. I read about these people that get a lot of stuff for next to nothing I don’t know how they do it. I’m of course still a newbie at this you can probably tell by this post but I keep trying! 😉 So any helpful tips on getting faster at this would be great. I guess that’s only complaint I have is the time it takes to coupon.
O.K. this ended up being a way longer post then I meant ha ha sorry!
