Good News! The $2/1 Purex coupon is NOT preventing the $2/1 Purex Register Reward from printing! Yippeee! So that means that we can get $.99 Purex with no problems. This is only an issue when occasionally a Register Reward is the same dollar amount as the coupon you are using. If they are code the same the register can’t tell the difference between the RR and the coupon and thinks you are trying to roll the Register Reward.

Exactly! I didn’t get it either and was really so mentally tired by the end of it, I just let it go. I am going to roll the RRs.
Was wondering if anyone used the Wags diaper coupon on the training pants?
Wags diaper coupon won’t work on the training pants, it will beep. It is for diapers only. I still stocked up on the training pants today as well as the diapers though.
where can I find the B1G1 for the Herbal Essence deal?

I only had 2 of the $2.50 off coupons and then two of the $1 off.

They were $5.29 at my store. The BOGO 50% off caught me off guard. Couldn’t for the life of me understand why my math was wrong until I looked at the receipt. Anyway, the 50% comes off at the end of the transaction, and the catalina machine treats it like a coupon I guess. I purchased 4 and It worked like this:

Total: $5.87
Get back 10 RR
$4.13 profit.

Yep, just came to say my Excedrin rang at bogo 50% off also, but only the PM and the Migraine, not the extra strength. I used my 3 free Q’s from coupons .com a while back, and they took the full amount off, then bought 1 PM to get over $20–used a $2.50 Q and paid $2.79 OOP, but then got $2.64 back at the end of the transaction for the bogo 50% off on the PM/Migraine, so total OOP was $0.15, and got a $10 RR. I don’t know if the bogo 50% off is a glitch, or if it will be on all week, but it was a great moneymaker!
My paper didn’t have the Herbal Essences coupon that I was hoping for, but it did have $1 off Irish Spring deodorant.
my paper sucked no right guard or the renuzit coupons, ack! even got up extra early to get paper first and nothing even tried three different papers. but i did do pretty good actually great! Spent $7.84 got $8.50 in rr, bought 3 1l listerines, 4 gallon sizes boxes of hefty freezer bags, 2 irish spring deo, 1 purex crystals, 2 blistex, 3 packs wrigleys gum and nine candybars, some as fillers. just kept rolling my rr and lucky to have a bunch from last week! good shopping trip!

Sorry for the long post, but I did the Irish Spring deal. I had one $1 off coupon that had printed several weeks ago from the Wags catalina machine and then I had a $1 off from coupons.com. I have NEVER had this happen at Walgreens, but the cashier scanned the other coupon and a RR I was using and then when he got to the printed coupon from coupons.com he called a manager to approve the coupon. And then the manager proceeded to say that they aren’t actually allowed to accept internet coupons like that and that they need to have the little “bubbles” behind the expiration date. Being that I’m knowledgeable about coupons, I know exactly what he’s talking about — it’s the manufacturer coupons that you get straight from the manufacturer that almost look as ifthey have foil on them at certain parts…They let me actually use the coupon, but I’m guessing they won’t in the future. I tried to tell him about coupons.com and he said that he had never heard of it and that it might be my savings of $1 but Walgreens hasn’t been getting reimbursed for some of the coupons. He said some people are putting together their own websites and putting fraudulent coupons on there…I am still so frustrated by this, because I don’t think he was educated on the fact that Walgreens and Irish Spring (whoever the manufacturer is) got together to put that coupon on coupons.com! Has anyone run into this?
Kelly – It’s so sad that you have to teach this person his or her job… but… show him or her his OWN ad or the monthly coupon book that says “for more coupons visit walgreens.com” and tell him or her you printed it there and he can check it out for himself. (The “coupons” that walgreens is advertising is just a redirect to coupons.com.) Geez.
He wasn’t talking about those straight from the manufacturer foil coupons. he was talking about the watermark that is supposed to print behind the expiration date – your printer may have been running low on ink.
Hmm, I’m not sure I’ve ever noticed that. I have a black and white printer and it’s a pretty nice 3in1. Also I have a brand new cartridge in there. Do you happen to print your coupons in color, maybe that’s the problem?
Just had to post this regarding my post above about the mgr at Walgreens not wanting to accept the $1 off Irish Spring printed from coupons.com…I was just on their website and in the FAQ it has a question that says “does walgreens accept MFR coupons printed from internet”…it says “Sure as long as they are legit” (I’m paraphrasing) and then says to browse the coupons to use on your next shopping trip to Walgreens…guess where it takes you when you click on the link? To coupons.com 🙂 I’m tempted to go back down there and have him go back to his computer and give that a whirl 🙂
Last week I stocked up on the swifter deal and got a few 3 RRs from those.. So today I just stocked up on diapers for my daughter using the RRs to pay for them… I’m pretty happy!

I had a dreadful cashier who insisted I had to buy 3 right guards to use my 1 coupon. I pushed the issue and she let it fly with some serious groaning and sighing. I then had the $3 salonpas patch coupons and she REFUSED to allow the overage on the other patches, nor would she only adjust the ONE coupon so I could get the ones I had in my basket. So she adjust all 4 of my coupons down. Ugh! Shame on me for not having the coupon policy with me. Had that same problem last evening at walmart with their new policy. Oh well! Still got 4 deodorants, 4 patches and 3 excedrines for $.67 OOP. Cant complain just TOO much. LOL
Forgot to mention, I walked away with a $10RR for the excedrine too.
I am not sure if this is in the ad -I bought 2 Secret Clinicals and they rang up at buy one, get one 50% off. I used the $3 P&G mailer q’s.

Jeremy: I found them at Walgreens awhile back, but not anymore. Coupons by Dede still have a lot of them, for $0.20 ea. HTH
I went to my local Walgreens today, to do the Reach Toothbrush deal, and found Reach Toothbrushes on clearance for $1.09 each! If you use the $1/1 coupon, this is a HUGE money maker! I paid $0.36 for four Reach toothbrushes, and received a $4.00 RR back, making this a $3.64 Money Maker!

I tried to get a few of the BOGO Right Guard this morning and was told that for every 4 items rung up, I had to buy one…I’ve never done this before and wondered if I was missing something?

On the renuzit deal i just got back and they wouldn’t let me have more than the $4.17 that’s listed on the coupon (i assumed this was per item not for all 3 free ones) but it wasn’t worth the 33 cent arguement to me (expecially with my 25 month and 9 month with me) I already had to go back to them and have them give me cash back for 4 of the free ones (i purchased 12 and they only gave me 2 free) and had to have them give me cash back for one of the B1G1 right gaurds, they only rang up one of my coupons. But at least everyone seems to be fairly coupon knowledgable at mine and didn’t give me a hard time.
YAY! Just went to Walgreens, I got 9 things of herbel Essence shampoo, 9-Conditioner 6- Clearsal face wash 18 renuzit 9-little homemade carmels (Fillers) 9 Dial lotions 14-FREE right gaurd deoderant, 8-Irish Spring body wash and 4-Irish spring deoderants, a gallon of milk, toleit paper, and a thing of syrup all for a grand total of 22.60 🙂 PS love your blog!
Ugghhh! I am so mad! I went to Walgreens and bought a ton of stuff yesterday! Totally forgot to have the cashier scan the Renzuit cones coupon! Does anyone know if I can go back and get an adjustment, or do I have to return them all and redo the transaction?
Ughhhh….is right! I did the same thing last week with Fruity Pebbles. My stores return and rering. It makes me crazy. I feel your pain. I will be doing that tomorrow. There have been times I didn’t go back and said to heck with it. I am trying to keep up with it now. I have lost money because I didnt (always wags coupons for me).
