I had a question regarding in ad coupons. Since Walgreens has a rule that says you can’t use more coupons than the number of products you are buying, does an in ad coupon count as one coupon even if you are buying more than one of the same item?
In ad coupons don’t count at all! 🙂

ohmygoodness I love you sooo much! I had to run out and to this. I tried to minimize my OOP by rolling over the RR’s onto Softsoap and the trial size cottonelle, and unsuccessfully on the Always (they marked them wrong.)

Yes, I made the Wags circle in souther IN – I got lucky at all stores. All of them had at least 3 – most of them had 5.

Worked great. Also while I was out I saw a new coupon book at the front by the sales guides at my Walgreens, it has diet coke on the front of it and has $10 in MQ (diet coke, Dasani, Campbells, Prego, Orville Redenbocher, vitamin water, swanson, and pepperidge farms.)

Worked in Hot Springs, AR…I went to three WAGS…someone found the deal before I did at the first 2, I found 3 at one store, found 4 at the next, it did not print the RR so the manager gave me $3 cash. I didn’t mention the “bonus RR” lol…I bought 13 at the third store (and very sweetly left 10 more on the shelf for someone else, begrudgingly! But I hate it when the shelf is cleared in front of me.) I bought some other stuff too, so I’m not poisitive of the totals OOP…think it was about $7 (plus $7 on register rewards I already had) I have $24 in RR to show for it! I’m very very pleased with this deal THANK you so much for telling me about it!!

I did this today. FYI – the $4 that looks funny (not the one that looks like a regular RR) rolls. I did the first transaction and then used that $4 for the next purchase. Had to buy a clearance item to get over $4 before tax. I got the $8 back.
This got me out of the house tonight! I got 2 pediacare, 4 Pebbles, 1 other post cereal, and a pack of gum. i used $3 RR I had. OOP $0.88 and since they only have the 4 Pebbles i only got back 2 $3 RR. i got all that and I am still up! GREAT DEAL!!!!
I have to clarify something you said above. In ad and walgreens monthly coupon book coupons do count against your coupon total at all 5 walgreens by me. If you have 10 items, 3 in ad coupons, you can only have 7 other coupons. I’ve even had a problem with a coupon saying buy 2 get $3 off counting as 2 coupons. The good thing is that if you buy 3 pediacare using one in ad $5 off it’s one coupon and 3 items.
that is not how it works for me and most other stores a $1 off 2 coupons would count on two items, and in-ad Q’s and monthly wags Q’s don’t count at all. Try this next time you shop, have them ring up your stuff, then pull out all your MQ’s, then once those are rung up pull out your in-ad Q’s (keep them hidden), I do this so they don’t make a fuss about what they think they need to scan first.
Agreed, Wags in-ad do not count towards coupon total. Always use them last!
Angela, I work at walgreens and I PROMISE you that in ad coupons do not count towards your cpn totals, neither do monthly cpns, and if they tell you that they do, take the cpn policy or call corporate, because they are completely wrong.

I don’t like to shop at Walgreens usually because the register always beeps at me. Could someone please clarify for me… my in ad coupon says”Limit 3″ so are you saying I can get 5 in a single transaction for the in ad price? This is my husbands favorite cereal and if I can get some RR’s to try to start back up at Walgreens I’d love it!
You can get 5 at that price – it will take off the correct amount. You may get a GM that doesn’t like it but i wasn’t questioned and it worked perfectly!
If the deal is working it would be helpful if you would say where you are located. I’m in N. Texas and it did not work for me this morning.

I went at 8 and it worked for me! Not only that, but before my cashier was even done ringing my order, a coupon printed out. I didn’t even see what it was because she said, “Let’s see if it will let me use this,” and it took $2 off my purchase, so it must have been for the cereal. Didn’t work for me at 3pm in ft. lauderdale. Just gave me $2.00 manufacturer coupon off my next purchase of pebbles cereal.

Still working in Metairie, LA as of 6pm CST. I was very surprised when I got to the store this afternoon, to find a FULL shelf of the Fruity Pebbles. Either they restocked or nobody did the deal at this particular store. I went to 2 stores earlier today, one store I bought the last 4,(sorry) another store 4 of 7 on the shelf. Even plenty of Pediacare, I used the overage towards the Cereal when I bought the first 4 this morning.
oh, I did not clear the shelf at the last store(though I was reallllllly tempted to), I bought 12 and left 10.
I was also able to successfully roll the blue-trimmed RR on all the deals I did and received 2 $3 RRs back each time.
On my last stop after trying 6 stores and only finding 2 I was spool excited that I found 12! The get their trucks on Friday here lately. I was so.excited but only got the $4 RR. And the one for your next cereal purchase but no blue $4 coupon!!!!! I am bummed. I did not even think to try the coupon that printed during the transaction. I went this AM in NJ and got a coupon but NO RR and I bought 5. There were plenty on th shelves at my Walgreen’s. I was very disappointed. 🙁 My Walgreen’s always does something to disappoint me, though. They either don’t have the product in the advertisement(not out of it, just never received it) or have poorly trained staff.

Were the small fruity pebbles actually included in the RR deal through the 20th or was that just a glitch? I did the deal a couple of times last week when it was the big money maker and wanted to grab another one today when they were restocked but RR didn’t print and I had no proof to show them that it is in fact a current deal. Where can I find the proof of that? Also, I didn’t use a RR to pay so that couldn’t have been the problem. Hmmmm….
