Just wanted to double check…the RR WILL print on Saturday night, even though it’s technically NOT 5/29?? I thought someone had told me once that since it’s not actually sunday, you’d get the price deal, but not the RR.

The Register Reward that’s printing is actually for a deal that is going on this week and thru the middle of June so that’s why it will print. 🙂

If I buy 3 bottles, will I get $6 RR or do I need to split up my transactions? Thanks!

Reply

Christie May 25, 2011 at 1:53 am

The deal is for (1) or (2) so you can buy (2) in one transaction and get the $4 RR but if you buy (3) you’ll only get $4, not $6

it i do 3 separate transaction will i get back 4 RR for each 1?

Which Stores usually turn early? I have no idea if mine does or not. But I guess if it doesn’t atleast my listerine will be free after register rewards.

Depends on the store. Test it out on Saturday evening. Some change around 5pm others 7pm, just depends.

I did this deal and no RR printed for me. The manager said no such deal exists… I was bummed!

Christie May 25, 2011 at 10:29 am

He or she is wrong. You can read it HERE. Call Catalina and have the send you your RR if you purchased the correct item.

That link didn’t work for me, do you need to be logged in or something, I wanted to read what it said about the deal being on, even though someone got a cashier saying it wasn’t an existing deal. Please advise, thank you.

Try just http://www.couponnetwork.com and see if that does it.

Is this a hidden deal? I can’t find in the Walgreens ad where it says I will get $4RR back. I went to Walgreens and the shelf did not mention anything about RR either. Is this a regional deal? I live in AZ. Please clarify. THANKS for all you do! Love your site!!

Donna – It’s unadvertised.

Donna May 25, 2011 at 6:43 am

I also tried using the in store coupon and he refused to let me apply the coupon to to the items on sale!! I wrote Walgreens about this and told them why do some stores honor the coupon and some not…I am still waiting for a reply. 🙁

Donna May 25, 2011 at 6:46 am

BTW… I was not even after the RR, my store has a unadvertised sale on the Large Listerine 33oz on sale for $4.49. With the stor coupon it would subtract $3 and then my MF coupon would subtract $1 = 49 each. I saw this offer posted by another shopper and it worked just fine. My store manager refused to let me use the in store coupon on the item on sale…BUT I could apply it to the 33 oz bottle that wasn’t on sale..Wah??? I am so angry, there is always an issue when I shop at WAGS!!

The $3/1 ad coupon is only for:
-Total Care, Advanced, or Zero (all 1 L)
-Total Care Plus Whitening or Whitening Plus Restoring (16 oz)

so make sure you get Whitening Plus Restoring if you want to use all the coupons and get the RR. This one has a white bottle that you can’t see through and a shiny blue lable.

Will the deal work on Sunday if the RR is good thru mid June?

Reply

Katie May 25, 2011 at 8:39 am

The printable coupon is only for 1L Listerine and the Walgreens coupon is for the 16 oz Whitening plus Restoring. I don’t think this deal matches up with the coupons.

Reply

Christie May 25, 2011 at 10:27 am

There are 2 coupon – if you print the one for Whitening that I have pictured you’ll see that it’s ANY whitening.

Reply

tessa May 25, 2011 at 10:01 am

the print on the coupon says its for 1.0L or larger.

Reply

Christie May 25, 2011 at 10:27 am

Then you printed the wrong coupon Tessa – don’t print the one for just Listerine, print the one for Whitening pictured.

I have a store that switches prices on Saturday at 5 – would they still accept the in-ad Q from this week through Saturday midnight, though? I thought they would stop that at 5, too.

Reply

Christie May 25, 2011 at 12:15 pm

Yes they would – it’s advertised thru the end of the day on Saturday! 🙂

Reply

Emily May 25, 2011 at 1:30 pm

Is there anyway to know if your store changes prices on Saturday, like it does for others, or is this something you just don’t know. Hope to hear from you, thanks again Christie 🙂

Brandon May 25, 2011 at 9:51 pm

You could always ask the cashier for a price check and if you’re still not sure you got the right bottles, you could buy them without using your coupons and immediately return them.

Reply

Michelle May 25, 2011 at 1:08 pm

I did the deal but did not receive a register reward for the Listerine.

How do u contact catalina???

Reply

1-888-8COUPON (Catalina’s Number)

Christie does a great job of organizing her site. If you look under FAQs: “Help! My RR didn’t Print!” she also offers suggestions on what to do when the catalina doesn’t come out.

Also, as she said in her blog, make sure you’re buying the whitening + restoring (whitening only will not print the RR).

P.S. You Rock Christie!

Doug May 25, 2011 at 2:50 pm

Jess, the $1 Q and the RR just say Whitening. Cristie says the sale next week is for Whitening + Restoring.

Reply

Doug May 25, 2011 at 2:59 pm

My point being that the RR should work for all the Whitening (Vibrant White, Original, and Restoring), unless you know otherwise.

Reply

Jess N May 26, 2011 at 2:30 am

You’re right Doug (about the RR)… I read the post wrong. I haven’t tried the deal yet. Hope it works for you.

I just called a couple different walgreens…ones that close at 10…usually turn sales on at 5….24 hour ones…usually turn sales over at 8 or 9 pm…hope that helps everyone….still would like to know how can I contact catalina????

Jess wrote ‘1-888-8COUPON (Catalina’s Number)’ to contact them 🙂

These were $6.99 at my store so not free, but I went ahead and picked them up for $1 each.

Man!! I was frustrated when my RR didn’t print…well my store was out of all the whitening except 1, so there were two Zeros left and I just thought “ok, I’ll just get those.” ARRGH….This is what happens to me when everything is out and I have to reconfigure my scenarios on the fly! Then all my other subsequent transactions were null because of this mess up! Sorry… needed to vent about my idiocracy!

Reply

Jeanna May 25, 2011 at 5:14 pm

I bought the Restoring mouthwash — no RR printed. BOO-HOO! No ProFusion razors either, so my scenario went down the drain….

Marianne May 25, 2011 at 8:41 pm

Once when my RR’s didn’t print, I told the sales clerk and he told me to go to the service desk. The person there gave me a gift card for the amount of the RR’s I should have gotten. They were very nice about it; the lady said they often don’t print!

The Listerine offer is for the white bottle of Whitening & Restoring. It’s $6.49 in Cntrl FL. Becareful they have other Listerine products on sale for $4.49 but only select items. It’s easy to get confused. Most stores that have a sale on Listerine have all of the same size bottles on sale. This is not the case here.

I’ve also noticed that they have raised their prices recently. The Bayer Asprin deal wasn’t $0.24 either, looks like they increased most things that had coupons by an additional $0.50.

Madison May 26, 2011 at 8:15 am

If you do the deal on Saturday, will the in ad q auto adjust because of the .02 overage or do I need to add a filler?

Reply

Coco May 26, 2011 at 7:05 pm

I don’t have a RR and I spoke with costomer service at walgreens and they said that I can only use the RR on my next purchase which means that I will only get $4 off of each bottle. What am I missing?

Reply

Doug May 27, 2011 at 5:26 pm

I got a Walgreens email with the a sneak peek, and the ad says $1 RR on the Listerine.

Sorry guys I’m so new at this….quick question. When it comes to the actual register rewards I realize they are manufactures coupons, but I can use them as “cash” on any item its not like they come out as certain coupons for certain items correct?

One more question…Say I have four RR. This weeks sale for the TONE Body wash is 3.99 -3 in RR making the body wash .99. Can I use 4 RR towards that 3.99 and get back 3 more RR like it is advertised? I’m sorry if I’m just confusing every one. I guess the easiest way to say it is can I use RR on items that are cheap this week because of the RR?

Reply

Kriszta May 28, 2011 at 2:40 am

I tried to use this coupon yesterday FOR THE RIGHT ITEM and it wouldn’t scan. They tried to type it in and it still didn’t work. Is something wrong with this coupon? I used the one from their website and it worked just fine. I don’t get it.

It appears the sales pricing is not activating early since the price starting 5/29 is part of a separate Register Rewards deal that begins tomorrow and Register Reward pricing is not activated until Sundays. I have checked two stores for early pricing and they’re ringing up as $5.99, not $3.99. This may not be true in other parts but it’s a no-go on the moneymaker here in NWFL.=\

Kiapita May 28, 2011 at 9:02 pm

Oops, I shouldn’t post from my smartphone! I meant to say I checked three stores; all had switched over on other deals, but not on this one 🙁 They must be reading your blog!

kriszta May 29, 2011 at 3:55 am

It worked for me.
i bought 2, used different Qs this time.
it rang up 6.99 so i asked the manager if they didn’t turn the price yet? she looked in the ad and gave me refund, she told me the RR wouldn’t print,, i said i know and it’s ok.
and since they had to rering it the $4 RR printed twice. lucky me 🙂
