Money Making Natrol Acai!

by Christie Bisbee on January 3, 2011

Here is a fabulous deal for you! You can get better than FREE Acai Natrol this week!

Buy
2 – Natrol Acai 1000mg, 60ct $10.99 B1G1 FREE
Use
2 – $2/1 Natrol Product, Any – 10-10-10 RP x4/30
1 – $5/1 Natrol Acai, 60ct (5551) Jan Coupon Book (Takes off $10)
Total = FREE + Overage (if your store allows)

In order to do this deal you’ll need to be sure to have at least $3.01 in other stuff to offset the overage, if your store allows. As always use the MQ first, then the Store coupon.  If you don’t have the $2/1 coupons you’ll still get these for just $.50 each so they can also make a great filler! Yeah!

(Thanks Ali & Beverly!)

I am super excited for this deal! It worked perfectly, and because of the $3.01 in overage, I decided to treat myself to Viva paper towels! They are my favorite but I hardly ever get them due to the price! Thanks so much once again, Christie!

Awesome! I love Viva too but they are usually expensive, so that is a nice treat!

Got home and opened these up and to my surprise there were $3.00 off coupons inside so I will be running to my store later to get more of these since improving my health was at the top of my priorities for 2011.

The $3.00off coupons in the boxes I purchased tonight don’t expire until 2/31/2012! And my store was stocked, which they never are!

If I don’t have the 10/10 RP and just use the Wags coupon, would I get 2 for .99? Just want to make sure before I do it.
And do they not say anything when they see the coupon rings up for more than what it says?
Just want to make sure before I do it.

Thanks!
Karen

Karen – I did it twice tonight and had no problems. Because the 2nd $10.99 is taken off at the end it wasn’t an issue for me and I also was buying various items.

Yes, without the coupon it would be $.99 for both. You might want to check in the box you buy because some have $3/1 coupons inside! One box had a $3/1 that was expired but the others had coupons that were still valid, making it a $5.01 Money Maker for 2!!! Just make sure you have other items to absorb all the overage.

I’m a little confused, there’s a coupon inside of acai bottles? Has the manufactor changed packaging, the last time I bought Acai they where just bottles no boxes. I haven’t been to Wags yet this week just want to be sure what I’m looking for. Thanks

They are in boxes. Look for the one that says 1,000mg 60ct. Not the diet ones.

Hi, the last time I used 2 coupons for B1G1 free on razors, the cashier told me I could only use 1 coupon because there was not an item showing for the free razor, so I had to pay $2. When I got home, I read the WAGS policy. When it says ‘2 coupons can be used for B1G1 as long at the net price does not go below zero’, does that mean they have to price adjust everything so it’s not less than zero, or does that mean I just need extra stuff for the overage? Maybe on the razor deal, if I would have had one extra item, it would have worked? I am going to try this Acai deal with the $3.01 overage as you suggest. Thanks.

Hi Lisa – Really based on the Walgreens Coupon Policy they should adjust on many different occasions. They should adjust the Acai and they should also be adjusting when the product is $2.99 and your coupon is for $3. But the reality is in 99.5% of cases they will not.

People are constantly turned away and being told that they can’t use that $3 coupon. The Walgreens coupon policy unfortunately isn’t being followed by the stores. I don’t know what good it is to have a policy but then not train your staff on what it says. It’s quite disappointing.

Hi Christie,

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried the Acai deal and made sure I had the $3.01 overage. It worked perfect. But.. then I tried the Omega Fish Oil deal. I got the $10 RR (I used $4.50 rr to use on this). Then I bought the Emergen C, B1G1. I found a $1 coupon in the Wags booklet when I was looking for the Acai coupon. So one Emergen C was $12.99, the other free. I think it should have been $12.99 – $2.00 (both $1 coupons). It was beeping, so she called the manager over. The manager first took off each $1.00 coupon, making each $11.99, then she made one free, so my total was $11.99. I told her about the WAGS cpn policy that I could use 2 coupons for each item. She told me she did use 2 coupons. But I told her that she took the $1 off the free item, still making it free, so she really only took off $1. She told me no, she took off 2 coupons, and it would never will take off $2 for the one item I was paying for. The thing I don’t like is it changes with every person I go to.

I still only paid out of pocket $10 for $66 worth, so I’m very happy. I’m just always nervous with WAGS because most of the time I don’t feel like I know what I’m doing. But THANK YOU so much for your website. I have saved a ton of money still trying even though I feel like a coupon fool sometimes. I just have to learn the system better!

Thanks!!

I could have sworn the diet Acai was also bogo, but it didn’t ring up that, so I didn’t get it. I opened up my boxes and used the $3.00 coupons and the wags coupon too! I panicked because the clerk took the Wags coupons from the bottom of the pile and I thought well shoot, now those MF coupons are gonna beep, but they scanned fine!

So a $5.00 money maker for me! Yay!

Just went to Wags to do another deal, tried doing the Wags coupon + the $2 RP Qs and they said no due to the Wags Q was a MFR Q and I couldn’t stack the Wags and RP Qs. I did have 2 filler items to actually cover the overage + extra. They wanted to redo the entire transaction even after I paid for it. I said no and to cancel the entire order if they wanted to do all that after I paid. They wound up letting me go with it but you could tell they were muttling under their breath as I was leaving.
Wags is the only place I ever have trouble with couponing 🙁
