FREE Credit Score: NO Credit Card Required!

I just got an e-mail from Credit Sesame that my free monthly credit score is ready! As many of you know, I am a certified financial educator and one of the classes I teach most frequently is about improving your credit score. My favorite way to get your credit score 100% for free (no credit card required) is Credit Sesame! I personally use it every month.

It’s really easy,  just enter your basic information at Credit Sesame. In about 3 minutes you’ll have your free Credit Score. You’ll actually be able to track your credit score for free every month. You see how you are progressing and it will help you catch any mistakes or errors. Plus monitoring your score helps you feel confident that your identity is safe! Many people have no idea they’ve been the victim of identity theft till they check their credit score!

Remember, your credit score is used by potential employers, insurance companies, banks and many others to make decisions about you, so it’s important to know where you stand! The average score is about 678. You can see what your score is HERE.

Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive!

I wanted to give you a quick reminder that today is the National Association of Letter carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. It’s the day that your mail carrier will pick up any non-perishable foods to be donated to local food pantries.

The Stamp Out Hunger food drive, always the second Saturday in May, has become the nation’s largest single-day food drive!  So if you haven’t put out your donation, be sure to do so now! :)

It’s a great way to donate some of those free food items you have picked up with someone in need.

Right@HomeOne great way to get money saving coupons is to sign up for company newsletters. One of my favorites is the Right@Home newsletter from SCJohnson, for products like Scrubbing bubbles. In addition to coupons, they offer giveaways, promotions, sweepstakes and other fun stuff!

Register To Test Products with Toluna!

Love to try new products and love to get stuff for free? You can now apply to test products from Toluna. You’ll just need to verify your e-mail address before you can apply to start. Upcoming product test include makeup from L’Oreal, a Wallet, Nail polish and more!

Once you’ve confirmed your e-mail, go back and log in and look for the “Rewards” tab. Then look for “Test Products” in the drop down box. They’ll let you know if you’ve been chosen and you’ll earn up to $5 per survey and you’ll be entered to win $2,500!

Plus right now they are accepting applications to try out a new pacifier, just let them know if you are interested, and you have until 5/16 to let them know you’d like to be considered.
