FREE Clearance Crest Mouthwash!

by Christie Bisbee on January 28, 2011

Reader Alma, found the 1 liter bottles of Crest Pro-Health on clearance for $2.50 at her store! She was able to use the $2/1 P&G coupon and the coupon from the January Coupon Book (expires Saturday) to get these all FREE or better!

Clearance varies from store to store but if you happen to find these on clearance at your store here’s how to grab FREE Crest Mouth Wash…

BUY
1 – Crest Pro-Health Mouthwash 1liter Clearance $2.50
USE
-$2/1 Crest Rinse 946mL Or Larger, Any – 12-26-10 PG x1/31
$2/1 Crest Pro-Health Mouthwash, 1lt (5356) Jan Walgreens Coupon Book
= FREE OR BETTER!

Remember if you do this deal you can only use (4) of the P&G coupons in one transaction. If you want more than 4 bottles, you can try a different Walgreens, or you can go shopping with a friend. Notice the multiple receipts in the picture above. Also, your store may adjust the manufacturer coupon to $.50 if they so choose making the item FREE. The Walgreens coupon would automatically produce $1.50 overage for each bottle otherwise.

(Thanks Alma!)

I was wondering…..What will happen to the overcharge? Do we need other items to absorb the overcharge or the Jan. coupon will automatically be adjusted down to $0.50 by the system so there won’t be any overcharge?

I am never going to buy this as I heard horror stories of this staining your teeth brown. Look it up, google it and you will see all the articles, also the bottle now has a warning on it so no one can sue them anymore.

Just an FYI from someone in the medical field, even prescription products in this category may stain teeth brown; rarely. Not sure if it’s actionable. This is easily removed during cleaning by hygienist as stated on the bottle I have. Not sure why they did not put this on the old bottles though.I think I’ll hold on to my 8 bottles.

Maybe its just me but i hate seeing people with more than 4 or 5 of one item….i try to just get a few of an item..out of courtesy of everyone else that would like to share in the deal. Of course i would love to get 10 or more if they were free but i try to think of everyone else and only get a few for my fam. If i go back another day and there is still some left i will get a couple more…i know how frustrating it is to hear of deal and one person wipes out a shelf so i can’t do that. I wish they would put limits on things so everyone has a fair chance to share in the deal. Im not bashing anyone…just my thoughts…

I did this deal today. I bought four of them. Louisa and Rhiannon the “overcharge” you can use towards other products. This is so because you are getting the overcharge from the wags store q.
